I suggest that you try UO or Everquest, these MMORPG games are quite interesting to play than RO!!!

That's all...

Go beta test Lineage II because it's open beta right now, however I heard the beta is only lasting for 3 months.

Don't do lineage cos it is going p2p soon... ie pay 2 play...
Well... everquest is quite good but the one I am playing now is Pristontale...
Currently, its still ages from p2p cos there's lots they need to fix... but its free and I like the character designs... not too childish and not to matured... depends on what you're in to...... So i'll just describe the game for you to decide... here's the link www.pristontale.com or eng.pristontale.com

Pros :
1. Character designs are nice and skills are interesting with 8 different types of class
2. Lots of different items and weapons including item aging and gemming
3. Its free and you can get to lvl 5x at least before it becomes p2p
4. Monsters are quite interesting and map is reasonably large... not too much till you get lost, can't find your way and have no way of going back...
5. Admins are rather efficient and dedicated to improving constantly, eg. they had horrendous english but within a month started getting better, probably with the help of transalators.

Cons
1. Because the english pristontale is still on a testing phase, servers aren't really up to scratch so there tends to be Disconnect and Reconnect problems.... but this doesn't happen to everyone, for eg me.
2. No quest yet except for one, which is a rank up quest and is rather straight forward to do... However, updates will be on soon for this
3. The items are stuck at lvl 60 and the skills are stuck at lvl 30 and won't be out probably until the game becomes p2p
4. Hacking still goes on therefore cautious trading is a must

Oh I forgot, one more pro to the game... if you play it, come look for me, i'll help you... lol

Star Wars Galaxies is a alright mmorpg, thats only if u have a bunch of friends. if ur by urself, ull get bored quickly.

Final Fantasy XI supposently is good as well, havent played it atm.

but a mmorpg u MUST play is WOLRD OF WARCRAFT.........buuuuuuuuuuuut the problem is WoW wont be expected to come out till later this year.

here are the sites

www.starwarsgalaxies.com
www.blizzard.com or www.worldofwarcraft.com

I still stuck at Ultima Online.

I just simply love it, it's free( except the Origin servers), there's a great variety of servers with diffrent game styles and you can play it with nearly computer.

For those who don't care about graphics, it's the perfect game.

i'll head back to my home : eve online

the graphics, the *almost* endless world, the ways of playing ...
i'll stick to it this summer

it's not really mmorpg, but well, it's still a mmo , so i'm not 100% off-topic

I am highly inclined to concur. My brother wastes SOOO much time playing Diablo 2 online its not even funny. I'm like WHY? Its so boring all you do is click->move, click->equip, click->attack, click->cast a spell, click->open door....

I ph34r FFXI though because I'm afraid of becoming addicting and losing all of my money and GPA I do prefer my RPGs to have a good story though.

In the future, do you think all people will stop going to work and completely live thier lives in MMORPG?!?!? i mean the only currency would be gold picked up from fire imps slayed by +2 attack swords, and darwfs and half-elfs would get married, and noone would dissapprove, like they do in real life. and people will have virtual kids that in turn will play on virtual virtual MMORPG games and continue on the virtual human exsistance. That would be soooooo coooool.

Well...all I can say is dis...I hate MMORPG and all MMOgames...y? bec. its just a waste of money...though sometimes it is fun...but still...I rather play a single player game that cost only 20 - 60 $ than to waste 20 $ a month for a damn game...due to monthly subscription fees...also I think it does'nt matter to all players out der wu use DSL...but since im using 56k..., that's why I hate MMO games bec. THEY ARE A WASTE OF MONEY!

I think my friend, Darvin here, already spent 200 $ since he was playing MMO games, if only he knows that money today is very important...

That's all...
