Manga 'Kyokou Suiri' is getting an anime adaptation.

Plot Summary

When she was still just a girl, Kotoko was kidnapped by yokai. These spirits made her into a powerful intermediary between the spirit and human worlds, but this power came at a price: an eye and a leg. Now, years later, she watches out for dangerous yokai while developing feelings for a young man named Kuro, who is also special: an incident with a yokai has given him healing powers. He's surprised when Kotoko asks him to team up to handle renegade yokai, preserving the thin line between reality and the supernatural

well this is not a romance genre though

I don't know how would they adapt those heavy-explanation scenes
even in manga, it is a wall of text

Though...I know Kotoko's leg is disabled, but her leg seems to be curving in a really weird way in that poster

Ah right. I remember dropping this manga some times ago because it was too talky. It's honestly rather tiring to keep up with characters' windy and roundabout conversation. And some chapters are basically just characters standing face to face and filing the panels with dialogue bubbles, i had to skip few pages to see if the story actually moves forward or not. It's actually not bad if you have some patience, but honestly it's not my cup of tea

Mamo as Kurou is... A surprise. I was expecting for your usual suspect of LN MC esque like Ishikai, Nobu, Furukawa, Onoken, or NakaYuu (Fukujun or Kaji is also a choice but nah).

When was the last time Mamo play a non-flamboyant/goofy character?
