Episode 1 is pretty amusing. It's basically Maoyuu with a twist. Instead of the climactic battle, the show begins with the hero already defeated the demon queen but now goes back to her to apply for a job. And instead of hero initially rejecting demon queen's proposal, we now have the opposite where the queen did the initial rejection. So, for now, the hero can only talk with the 4 generals to get a job instead of directly negotiating with the demon queen.

Also opposite of Maoyuu, the hero companions in this story are basically useless throwaway characters. Instead, looks like the 4 demon generals will have more fleshing out this time.

Episode 1 was pretty interesting I guess... setting seems to be fantasy but also post apocalyptic. I'll give it a few episodes to see where it goes.

There were some funny parts but it really hurt to see the stupidity of humanity against the hero, I mean if he was so strong how can they believe for even a second that they can get rid of him?, in the end they shoot themself in the foot and it will be a happy ending when they are all destroyed and conquered by echidna. I love that kind of karma but I doubt it will go that way so soon and this seems more like a comedy anime for now.

It certainly is. And brought to mind another pair of fallen heroes: Brigadier-General Francis Hummel (USMC) (The Rock) and Alec Trevelyan (GoldenEye)... indeed, it's easy to imagine this protagonist using some of their lines.

I'm guessing there will probably be romance between the hero and the Demon Lord girl. The voice cast is pretty stacked .
Between that and what appears to be more general problem-solving, I would be unsurprised to find herein nods subtle and otherwise to Maoyuu Maou Yuusha and Genjitsu Shugi Yūsha no Ōkoku Saikenki...

Spoiler for Outside-context problem:

A bit too exposition heavy to be really enjoyable for a first episode and the protagonist was a bit too full of himself to feel much empathy for him. Still, an interesting concept, two more episodes to see what's up.

This felt good. Kind of needed something so utterly ridiculous like this to get into the new season. His utter confidence in the application process was gold. Especially using having defeated the person he's trying to get hired by as part of his resume . Fair enough that it does show his capabilities...Just got some ridiculous levels of fun watching him tanking magical attacks while still trying to get the job.

People being stupid honestly is the most believable part of this. And at least it isn't going beyond what is pretty standard. People will give powerful individuals all kinds of grief even though if that individual lost their cool they'd suffer immensely for it. The King pretty perfectly represents it. Counting entirely on Leo being a good person and...not killing him and taking over the Kingdom. Banking entirely on a hero being a hero and just taking the mistreatment and banishment with a smile.

Honestly it's not like they even need to rebuild the army here. Can just reverse the process and send Leo out to crush each Kingdom systematically until the world is taken over. While I expect most of the show will just be about rebuilding the army and building friendships, it is kind of amusing how there is absolutely no issues towards the end game. Echidna has basically won the lottery even if she doesn't want to accept it. Soon as the logistical stuff (great idea leaving that to Lily) is taken care of...they can just march. The biggest issue may just be the concept of Echidna wanting to rule peacefully afterwards. With humans being really stupid that is the toughest thing to manage.

Maou Maoyuu Yuusha I think? But in that story, he's working with the maou, not for the maou. Although I believe it'll eventually end up with hero being on even terms eventually(and hopefully begrudgingly, cause that's where the fun starts).

Also that show was mostly about lectures about economy with some romance thrown in (and a love triangle as well).

Hm, bit of an... odd series. Its not outright awful, just that the plot kind of clashes with itself. Like the premise sounds kind of silly (I was afraid it'd be another revenge fantasy), but then the atmosphere (the animation, the conversations, etc.) is kind of serious instead. At least it isn't an isekai (though the graphs sure look out of place for this setting).

The flashbacks don't help either, feels like the generals' introduction could have fit on two manga pages, especially with how fast each was defeated.

I'll give it at least one more episode, just to see how things go and to maybe answer some questions. Not about the demon lord (don't care about her backstory yet), but to see how they'll rebuild, since doesn't seem like they can trade with humans. Or maybe they'll use disguises and people will just be that stupid, sure haven't seen any decent or competent humans yet (they exile the hero who defeated the demon army all by himself, they're just lucky this hero is so... passive), with only one named human so far, the hero himself. I know its only the first episode so but that interview dragged on too long. So far its different enough to watch one more episode probably.

The plot is so-so for me but I find the opening song quite catchy.

I will probably watch this for the character interaction.

Don't really know I feel about this one just yet. Guess I'll keep watching for a few more episodes.

Truthfully, i find the backstory exposition much better, as it explains almost everything in the 1st episode itself.
There are many Series which doesn't even do that properly, which creates issue for the overall plot (like recent "Strongest Sage with Weakest Crest")

There are many Series with a female Demon Lord who also happen to have red-hair and end up working with the MC, but i think the Series you are mentioning is probably "Maoyuu Maou Yuusha"
