The official Shonen Jump+ page for Wataru Momose's Romantic Killer manga revealed on Tuesday that the manga is getting an anime adaptation on Netflix on October 27.

Story:

When gamer Anzu gets transported to a world of hot guys, it's like she's in a dream…someone else's dream!

Why is Netflix making an anime of a Jump+ axed manga?

This has to be one of the most random anime announcements that I have ever seen.

So...is this like a romcom? I'm kind of wondering where the "killer" aspect comes from .

I totally did not realize Jump+ did a reverse harem. I figured I'd take advantage of my shared Netflix password while I still can and ended up marathonning the entire series. Fun and very zany series overall; lots of shoujo tropes and random references to other series. Probably a 7/10 overall, though I think the manga was cancelled/concluded so we've got all we're going to get.

Does it have a solid ending?

Hmm... I mean I thought so. The series as a whole gets a bit less zany and more dramatic in the last 1/3 or so (which made it hard to put down) but it is fundamentally a harem so keep your expectations in check. They really nailed the annoying otoge/eroge mascot trope as well.
