Don't know if this is the correct board to ask... WMPC stuff.
I don't know what has gone into my WMPC. It worked well last time, now it didn't.
Now, for some reason, the file menu NEVER, and I mean NEVER comes out when I click it. I can navigate with the "Up Down Left Right" from the keyboard, but I can't see where I'm navigating at, though when I press enter, it would do what it is suppose to do when you click on that tab. The problem is the tab never shows, though you navigate as if it was there. Next, for some reason, when I link any files to auto start and play from WMPC, it would hang my com. The only way to see it is to open it from file menu(Which as I said, kinda tough due to the problem above), or drag and Drop. Its not only video files, audio files, whatever, it will hang. I don't think there is anything wrong with my WMPC, but rather, its my computer. I've redownloaded it a bazillion times, and sent it to my friend a few days ago. My friend's WMPC(Which I sent to him) worked fine. Any help here? Also, since WMPC isn't working well for me, I tried to install the MKV thingie from the media guide. I installed it following all the instructuions below, and yes, my BS player finally opens it. But It won't start to play. How do I start it? Last but not least, I know the mkv file I have has subtitles. Using VirtualDubMod, it tells me that there are subtitles, as well as using VLC. But when I want to try running it with WMPC, but I need to set Directshow video to WMR7/9(Renderless), when 7 is "greyed" out, and when I choose 9, I can't run any media file. They give me errors. WMPC = Windows Media Player Classic Last edited by Ratix; 2004-09-19 at 06:32. Reason: Oops, its WMPC, not WMVC ^_^U. Windows Media Player Classic, Also about MKV files... |
