So...I'm sooo very bored, and I'm only following one anime at the moment:
Death Note.

I'd like to be following a second one too...
Need a good story, and perhaps some action.

Animes I've watched and enjoyed:
Beginning of Naruto (only the very beginning, the first arc so to speak)
Full Metal Alchemist
Serial Experiments Lain
Yakitate Japan
Great Teacher Onizuka
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien
Vampire Hunter D
Scryed
DNAngel
X TV
Noir
Scrapped Princess
Samurai Champloo
Wolf's Rain
Get Backers
Chobits
Vandread
Midori No Hibi
Samurai 7

And then there's one more....which I've forgotten the name of...
was an anime with a very different style of drawing so to speak....suits would have a flat texture on them, giving nearly no insight of depth...
Gah! Why can't I remember the name

Anyway I liked that one too, maybe the best of them all :/
Something to do with a count, and this boy with his interest in him...blue haired dude...it's some kind of remake....

perhaps Black Cat...tho this is kinda a long shot.

If you have nothing against horror/mystery Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is something quite exceptional in my book. Good story ? Most definitely.

hmmm... i'd suggest:

fate/stay night

full metal panic (second raid has actions as well as some romance, fumoffu is very funny!!)

suzumiya haruhi no yuuutsu is also nice

mai hime & mai otome... those 2 arent linked though... to me mai hime is very sad, not as sad as kimi ga nozomu eien :P.. thats wat i feel anyway :P

chobits (romance anime)

neon genesis evangelion... quite confusing though.. u need to watch the movie to know the ending ^^

bleach is a good series :P

Wether Mai-HiME and Mai-Otome are conected is pretty much open for interpretation. I'd say they are... and it certainly makes you understand some parts of it better if you have seen HiME first.

Try Monster. It has a great story and surprisingly little filler for a show of its length.

I think you should try One Piece... it has a great story and action too...
The current arc is amazingly good...

Bokura ga Ita is a great romance series.

Kare Kano is another good romance series, the couple becomes boyfriend/girlfriend early on.

Fushigi Yugi is a great fantasy/romance series. The couple becomes boyfriend/girlfriend early on and has a magical romance. The manga is a lot longer than the anime and continues a lot further. If you watch the anime, make sure to watch the OVAs afterwards, the manga is a lot better at continuing the series, but the OVAs do show some of the wonderful manga continuation. The manga and anime are both good, the manga is a lot longer though. The anime is long, too, but the manga is much longer.

Marmalade Boy is a romance series where the couple becomes boyfriend/girlfriend during the middle of the series. It is 76 episodes. Many couples are dating.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is something I will def check out, thanks

I was watching Mai-Hime a while back...but I stopped, can't remember why exactly...probably because it got licenced I think.

Ouran Host Club [can't believe you haven't watched this yet]
And a bunch of anime series that's airing this season. All of them are good. Wish I could watch all of em, I'm nearing my hd space- 500 gigs.
