In search of action / romance stories..
Hello everyone, its my first time posting but I have lurked the forums for quite a while now, anyway I usually check the suggestions category but I can't seem to find any new animes on Action / Romance, with emphasis on the romance part!
I have seen quite a good share of animes, and those I enjoyed the most were:
While I didn't really dislike the following, but they were only average on my opinion:
I don't mind any setting at all, as long as it compromises a romantic relationship of some sort. Thanks in advance for all the help |

Tsubasa Chronicles definetely fits, the only bad thing is that it isn't completely finished. Two seasons out already but the story isn't done and it looks like the third won't come out. However they are making OVAs for a key part in the manga which takes place after season two. It's adventure/fantasy/romance(although not truly complete, you will see what I mean.).

Uchuu no Stellvia will proably be right for you, it's a sci-fi show with plenty of action but also a focus on character relationships and actually the relationship with the main character moves pretty quickly, sort of like in Eureka Seven I guess.

Gundam: 08th MS Team - IMO one of the best of the Gundam series, this one is about two people on opposite sides of a small corrner of the main UC war. Some good mecha battles and a strong romance. Voices of a Distant Star - An amazing one-episode OVA, about two young lovers separated by time and an interstellar war. Some good one-on-one mecha battles but the focus is on the two characters feelings. |

Seconding 08th MS Team, however the romance kind of leaves the plot for a few episodes. However, it is still a very good show, and one of the best Gundam series IMO.
I'd like to add Full Metal Panic!, which has a lot of action and romance, but also has a heavy emphasis on comedy, which might not be to your liking if the shows you listed are indicative of that. The romance kicks up to the highest level in the third season called Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, which is worth watching the first two seasons for IMO. |
