I really like Renji since he's a former squad 11 guy (Theres' not enough character development on Tetsuzaemon for me to like him as much, Yachiru doesn't count even when currently in 11 since she's just glued to Kenny's back anyway

)...His shikai is interesting, and since he can use bankai, that's a plus...

Besides, I also like his personality...He's brash, sometimes arrogant, and he can also have an ego...Who doesn't love a quasi-cocky motherfuxer like him?

Well, Renji has had more character development than any other VC and possibly only comes after Ichigo and Rukia out of all the characters in the series. And I think his shikai is much more than interesting, if you rewatch the first fight with Ichigo it looks downright brutal. It's a pity his latter fights aren't drawn out so well, not to mention his mistreatment at the hands of Kubo and the animators...

It used to be Hinamori, but she got all berserk over Aizen, that I started hating her. Matsumoto Rangiku is my new favorite.

Does that opinion include the context of Renji using his shikai against an inexperienced substitute?

I'm a sucker for melee-type zanpaktou like Renji's and Ichigo's and Ikkaku's...You're right in that his first encounter with Ichigo, Zabimaru looks extremely dangerous, but after later fights, the depiction almost makes it seem like it's close to worthless and almost ineffective...

Honestly. I thought originally, yeah, so she's a vice captain, so she must be strong, but when she exhibited such a strong reiatsu at the Fifth Division messenger guy during Kenpachi's fight, I was like...there must be something really odd about her...she's probably uber powerful...

What's her Shikai? Or...do you think she has Bankai...???

I think she is Kenpachi's Zanpaku-to...his spiritual energy is so powerful he causes her to manifest, which is why she just showed up out of nowhere to him. And perhaps why she spends so much time on his shoulder hehe Just a wild-guess
