Oh the alley scene was pulled off beautifully, it was one of my fave scenes in the manga. The "Yo Fullmetal" was so great. Everything in that scene was great. Easily fave epi of the season for me, one finally eclipsed the Nina epi for me.

I forgot to mention one thing about this episode: Dr. Knox makes his debut in Brotherhood, hell yeah! Such a cool side character. His seiyuu is good too, thankfully.

Oh yeah. He was really cool. Gave the impression that he follows his way, not the highway.

I didn't keep up with the manga, as I just watched this episode I was pretty shocked. It was very enjoyable, but sad at the same time.

I didn't like it as much as I hoped; putting aside the rushed feeling it gave... they should have made it end at Ross' death, would've caused much more impact but oh well...

I'm just starting to love the new opening and ending, my love for Again is still the same and I like Uso so much than Let it Out (is that the name of this ending, right?), but at least I don't find them annoying anymore :P

Being a manga reader: I'm loving the feelings that anime-only fans are having (aw, that's so mean from me

lol) 'cuz I felt the same way and even more than you guys did :'( I do encourage everyone to read it! It's just a must!!

This coming from a previously anime-only fan who just HAD to know more about the series

Exactly, from Brotherhood I am getting the same feeling that I did with the first series. I just can't wait to see what happens.

I thought the episode was perfect.

It never felt rushed like the previous eps. I hope whoever directed this episode does the future eps because I like this pace, XD.

Subtle EdWin moments were handled really well, imo. And I just keep falling in love with Ling's voice <3.

A nice episode. Just having a tough time believing Barry is even cooperating with anyone to such a degree after seeing the way he was portrayed in the first series.

Yeah, but the guy is a psychopath. You're not supposed to be able to coerce such a guy into doing anything for you.

Also, for me. Scar's character was ruined when he first reacted to May Chang with that dumb expression on his face. I have no problems with Winry, though. She even feels more important in this series.

Do you still have first series Barry stuck in your head? It's already been shown in Brotherhood which has the original Barry, the way he should be portrayed. They destroyed the Barry that i love in the first series.

Spoiler: If people do bad things, then according to the child rationale that person's wrong, hence, there's no middle ground between black and gray. Becoming adult and being adult means that one must expect the worst things happening and never let the guard down. I cannot say much about Mustang's role against Maria Ross without risking getting excited, but the least I can tell you is this: There's a full truth on the words that Mustang spoke sense on Edward. They're soldiers and nothing else. They have no lives but answering to Central. They are tools not made to think or ask questions but dispose of the enemy. But if one gives a deep thought through, one realizes that the Homunculus have all their eyes, noses, and ears stuck up at every corner, roof, and sewer in Central. I have no doubts that the Homunculus are manipulating the military like rag dolls, and Maria Ross's outcome was an absolute ultimatum addressed to Mustang not to seek for answers and not to think by himself; just stick to the orders and overlook things.
