Well, the Tougane faction certainly stepped up their game this episode. Holy crap.

Omg Mika shut up. Seriously shut up.
The dog scene was creepy, I liked that. At this point the only thing Im interested in is if Togane is going to be able to cloud Akane's hue, everything else Ive given up on.

Not sure if Mika lost some screws on the encounter or that shes so socially brainwashed that needs aid to know if closing her home door is the right thing to do.
About Akane part, well kinda sucks that her grandmother presence is only to be killed/tortured/maimed so that Akane goes full psycho. Seems that everyone hates Akane on this season lol The bright side is that if her Hue doesnt go bad not even for a moment the hints that Akane might be a potential new Sybil brain will become certain 100% |

I actually felt bad for Mika, poor girl was mind fucked.
I don't understand why Sybil needs their hands on Akane or want to paint her black. She's the best detective that the MWPSB and she accepts the system as a necessity for the moment. Pushing her too far is going to make her rebel. I'm really finding myself watching episodes just for Akane and Kamui. Kamui is interesting to me because he's a creation of a demented system and is committing crimes because he was ignored by the system. Akane's profiling skills always makes a good watch. I'm worried on how their going to tie up everything in 2 episodes. |

The fire burning the animals that turn out to be mutilated humans is standard and the rest was stanadrd "hey shock value" that I hate this entire season.
However, the other half with Akane with a towel scenes was great, and is the only thing keeping me going.

What? That was Makishima. Kamui is committing crimes because the system killing hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent people during the "Season of Hell" in order to suppress its opposition and keep itself in power. He's merely using the fact that the system ignores him to his advantage.

Has there been a full description as to what the "Season in Hell" is? If so, I missed it.
To me, that scene in front of the burning meeting hall was way over-the-top and ham-fisted. Using the sung version of "Nessun Dorma" made it difficult for me to even follow the dialog. The only thing the director missed doing was flashing on-screen letters reading "MEGA AWESOME CRITICAL SCENE!!11!!". The plotting appears to be crumbling more with each new episode. |

It was a week or so back. Basically, another system was gaining popularity to replace Sibyl, and it was given power over what was essentially traffic and something else. Sibyl screwed their systems to cause an untold number of traffic accidents, both on the ground and in the air. Sibyl's involvement is considered a mere conspiracy theory since it's supposed to be an autonomous system as opposed to the brain in jar system that it really is. Because of that other system's failure to govern the area it was given, it was scrapped and Sibyl was put completely in charge.

Though, I still don't understand why Sybil needed to put 184 human parts in one body. And if he was such an amazing experiment, why did they let Kamui go free and not watch him over the years? |

As if Togane wasn't creepy enough they needed to add that dog scene. Also looks like Mika just had her mind completely blown from the revelation and is going along with the system for now.
Got to ask though what was up with all the ponchos. It just attracts so much unwanted. Well they did say that they want Akane to watch them pass judgement on the system. Also feel bad for Akane's grandmother but we all should have seen this coming when they kept on bringing her up. Now just two episodes left.

Personally I think that Kogami did his part on the story already, might have some cameos but I dont want him to be a Doraemon saving the day when something goes wrong.
I prefer the rest of the team to grow than having Togami popping up when shit hits the fan to save his poor useless companions |
