I wouldn't doubt it if the MiB's themselves are some bizarre part of their own research. They have to have something beyond human in them. They don't age, they have youki marks all over themselves. There has to be a reason that they almost completely cover themselves too. What are they hiding? They certainly don't have uniforms. I think there has to be more to it than making sure the towns know it's them just because they are wearing all black.
The youma that took over zaki mentions that they have been hunting humans since ancient times. I wonder how long that is? Eisley is pretty old, and youma don't seem to live very long (because all the ones we see are killed) so it is hard to determine their history with the human race. I'm not sure how old Eisley is though... There is no way to tell how long things have been going when your only markers are characters that don't age. Youki is also something that has become very interesting to me. The more youki there is in the flesh, the more powerful that flesh becomes. It makes claymores stronger, it makes them faster and gives them different abilities. Helen's youki allows her to stretch, Miria's allows her to move faster, Deneve's allows her to regenerate, Jeans allows her to twist her arm and so on. Youki can be suppressed and it can be maxed out. It radiates all around a normal claymore showing itself to anyone else with youki. It turns a hybrids eyes silver and allows them to sense others with youki. After half awakening the quality, not the amount, of youki in a claymore changes. Is youki like electricity generated by the critical youma parts of a claymore that powers them to increased abilities? Rubel mentioned that no matter how hard Clare tried to wash off her body she would always smell like blood because her body now created that scent. Is it possible that the youma parts of a claymores body are slowly eating away at the claymore? They have youma flesh and youma blood in them. Clare says to the Zaki youma that the blood gives them speed and the flesh gives them strength. Is there anything more to this? Or is it just an expression to intimidate a terrified human eating monster? |

As I have been thinking about it, I think the organization has to have have kept an awakened being in captivity for study. At least one, if not dozens. It doesn't make any sense to let them all just go, especially since they have been working on getting a soul linkable claymore for some time. Some AB's are very weak and could be easily held in captivity. The organization has to know a bit about these AB's; their eating habits, what happens to their personality, how their youki changes. It would help their training of future claymores as well.
I can't imagine them just saying oops after all the males awakened and then not pursuing them any further. I wonder what would happen if you put an AB in a room and didn't allow them to eat? I can't imagine them dying of starvation very quickly, especially because Claymores don't eat that much. I bet the Organization has a dungeon like base where they keep their experiments. |

though i wonder what is the difference between what the organization ate (simple yoma hearts) which granted them immortality & the half yoma process that makes it so possible and why is it rubel looks like an old man while some of the organization members look like their in the 30's (yoma hearts might be random about its effects?) even though they have been around since the start of the organization |

But i suspect if isley gave raki a yoma heart he might be able to live forever aswell (i wouldn't put it past Isley to trick Raki into eating one) only problem would be he'd be stuck if clare died/awakened im not 100% sure on this though, the effects of eating a yoma heart haven't really been explained outside of granting immortality, though doesn't give any bonus strength (thats seen anyway) |

I must have missed the part about eating youma heart to gain immortality. Is that how they make Claymores? Who mentioned it?
I know they go through some surgery and quite a few agonizing pain filled nights. Although Clare only seemed a little bit older in the extra chapter so I am not sure how long the entire process took. Originally I thought it was very long, but now I don't think it takes that much time at all. Just a lot of pain. |

the survivors formed the organization the process of how a half yoma is created is unkown, though not the same judging by the fact the organization members have not awakened and their male (assuming of course their telling the truth about males need to awaken, as they have lied several times) 1st proof of this is rubel, his been alive and not aged once in around 40 years of story if he was just any old man he would of died of old age by now i'll try and find the chapter but im not having much luck lol Edit: Major apology , i got a fanfiction story mixed up with cannon info though at the same time i wouldn't put it past if were true the members (as in leaders) of the organization are no ordinary humans Last edited by evil_kenshin; 2007-12-04 at 05:12. |

Isn't Raki rather lucky (no Engrish pun intended) that Clare will remain eternally youthful? So long as Clare still has the parts that count and she doesn't mind ending up with a dried prune, that relationship can last for as long as he does.
