At the 0:25 mark. Another interesting use is at the 1:25 mark, but kind of brutal for Nanoha.

Visually SCS would look like a big pink fireworks shell, with the axel shooter spells streaking out from the center. Can be spherical, or conical in area of effect, with Nanoha accounting for safe zones in the AoE for friendlies. The way I think of it, depending on how its concentrated, it's not made for countering strong barriers. Swarms of low level mages or biologicals, where friendlies can reinforce with a shield to guard against stray shots.

The red haired mage sighed as she sat down, having just returned from another stressful mission. They weren’t sure who or what it was that was causing these acts of terror, and that fact drove her up the walls. His moves never made sense, his timing was always off, and even his actions varied every day.

“Frustrating, isn’t it?”

And on top of that, for some reason he had started talking lately.

“Shut up.”

“After finally becoming conscious? I think not.”

“Just how did you do that anyway? You’re nothing more then a shred, a small shard of the original’s existence; you’ve never been anything more then mere instinct.”

“The answer to that question is as much a mystery to me as it is to you. However, I am not one to look a given horse in the mouth.”

“Of course you wouldn’t.” Keroko grumbled.

[Query: Should I increase the containment barrier, master?]

“If you honestly believe that will work, feel free to waste the energy.” The mocking voice replied, though the answer was not aimed at the Device.

“Don’t bother, Artherion. Thanks.”

[Answer: As you wish, master.]

“Have you considered my offer lately?”

“Yes. No.”

“As hasty as always. You do realize that there is no physical danger? Now that I have awoken, these barriers are needless. I have no desire to destroy my host.”

“Your ‘offer’ means merging with you. No.”

“Ah, but you know that we are already quite far on that path. We already are inseparable, two sides of the same coin. All that remains now is to join our very consciousnesses and become one side completely.”

“I know. No.”

“So you would willingly cut yourself of from your full power? You know that without the rejection, by using your black dragon powers we will eventually merge anyway. Though the merger will be rough. Incomplete.”

Keroko glared against the opposite wall. “Don’t you mean me using your powers?”

“No, they stopped being my powers the moment you merged them and survived. They are now a part of you, just as I. Can you really afford to lose that power? Now? When your friends are falling into grave danger?”

-BANG-

Keroko winced as the pain of slamming the back of her head against the wall started to assault her nerves, but she didn’t care. All that mattered was getting him to shut up.

Standing up on wobbly legs, she shuffled on to her quarters, even more tired from the debate.

Inside her consciousness, the other consciousness calmly returned to observe the girl. She was stubborn, but he did not mind. It was stubbornness that had led her to survive, it was stubbornness that had led her to thrive. It was a trait that she used to grow in strength. And he appreciated such traits.

He would bide his time. His words contained no real lies. They would merge in time, though the result would be crude. If she were to let them merge willingly, they could become so much more. Returning to his true form was impossible; he was but a part of this girl now. And two of him would create more trouble then worth anyway. By merging with her, they would grow into something new. A spawn like no other. That alone was fascinating enough.

Neltharion grinned.

He would bide his time.

And he knew that the biding was almost over.

Yeah. I just felt like writing this. I have no idea whether this fits into the story, but... yeah.

[Heisser Schrei.] The Epitomy of Fury kicked out its back end and flicked free a cartridge, chambering the replacement in one sweep. The armed device hummed louder as mana drew lines on its polished surface and the three-pointed sigil of Belka burst from under Tarkii's feet.

The swarm was almost onto her, but the knight sister paid no heed. Epitomy of Fury swung over her head and she lashed it down. "Feuer Frei!"

The flame-covered spearhead exploded into a tempest of power, spiralling out and whipping the first throng of bugs off their pincers, tossing and ripping their exoskeletons as their flesh inside boiled into geysers of muck. The fiery wave rolled on and swallowed the mob, its thunder mixed with shrill cries that quickly died out.

A disoriented, shrieking swarmling crashed out of the burning air, and dragged what was left of its body towards the source of the flames, hissing and spitting. Tarkii simply stepped on its appendage with a loud krump and pressed her bolter to its skull.

"Die, xenos."

She meeted the death sentence with two magic bolts.

To be more specific, go ahead and create a profile of your character and post it here. Then we'll give you comments and such on improvements to be made or what not to do. After then revise your character and start writing stories involving your character.

In short:

3) Write stories
4) ???
5) Profit

Would you like some cheese with your wine? Also you're the only one that got "lynched" much, that's because you're ideas were frikkin insane.

Though really I think it has more to do with the fact you seem to have an inability to understand the concept of constructive criticism; disagreeing with or seriously questioning concepts and ideas =/= "lynching". If everyone just laughs like idiots and gives even the worse prattle a pass all you end up with is crap editors exist for a reason, even if they sometimes say stuff authors don't like.

Let's not repeat yesterday please. Kha did get far worse then simple disagreements though. It degenerated to the point where his work, hell his username, was synonymous for mockery. There was rarely anything constructive about it just "Oh look there is Kha and his Khrack"

I'm hoping that this is a time we've left behind us. It was truly distasteful.

Kha is still Khracked though. Of that, there can be no denial. Hell Khrack is a portmanteau of Kha's Crack, because his crack is insaner than normal crack.

Also it got to the point when almost everything he made was broken to begin with. You can't exactly build a house if the foundation isn't solid.

As a personal observation, IMO part of Kha's problem is that unlike almost everyone else, he doesn't have a direction; rather he follows what catches his fancy at the time. That's good for brainstorming, but is fuck-all useful for creating a proper story. You need to have some idea of your journey; what kha has is "Look what new thing has caught my fancy this week!"

Makes me curious if Kha has ADD...

I'm actually suffering from what Goose described myself. I have 6532 different stories rushing through my head. I can think of at least 7 different Keroko's I have running around in the Nanohaverse from the top of my head, and there are probably a lot more that I've already forgotten. Some characters suffer from this more visibly then others (poor Uomo faced at least 3 different rebuilts) but usually I can pin down a profile and say "this is the one I'm using here." Syn will be pinned after her third Rebuilt, which is incoming the moment I get some more details on Vivio and her comings and goings through the upcoming manga.

Then I try to start writing an actual story, write a few lines, remember that the newest episode of Index is out and off goes my mind thinking up stories for the To Aruverse.
