I'm looking forward to finishing off White Album, i enjoyed the first half of the season so i'm sure that i'll enjoy the 2nd half also.

Winter Sonata sounds good, hope it turns out to be great or at least something decent and enjoyable.

Might give a few other shows a try too but not sure which ones to go for.

The design of [de] and the hero ASCOOL varied dramatically from PV.

The fix has not been done substantially yet PV changed the design according to it because it became an energetic, active character making the import of the story this time though it was a provisional design.
Not perfect but the general gist comes across.

If you are talking about Dance in Vampire Bund, it's not coming out until winter or spring next year.

shame. i enjoy a good vampire show now and then. something about them that makes the show always so erotically charged.

Will Winter Sonata have the same plot as its original Korean live-action series?

The "Blue Literature" one really catches my eye.

I might watch the first episode of Miracle Train, just for the sake of its silliness.

Winter Sonata looks interesting.

"A Certain Scientific Railgun" - Weird name, somewhat interesting premise.

Haven't read "Kimi ni Todoke" but heard good things about it.

Definitely Watch:

Meh.

Will check out:

The Sacred Blacksmith
Seitokai no Ichizon
Today in Class 5-2

Might check out if curiosity gets the better of me:

Kimi ni Todoke
Sasameki Koto

Won't bother with:

Most of the rest of this season's offerings

Will sacrifice small animals to a dark god in order to get canceled and taken off the air:

Inuyasha (Seriously, fuck this series and its creator and all her other shitty series)

Well by extension you also just dissed:

Maison Ikkoku
Urusei Yatsura
Laughing Target
Maris the Chojo
Mermaid Saga
One Pound Gospel
Ranma 1/2

In other words, you just dissed one of the greatest influences of modern manga and anime.

And you're assuming that wasn't my intent.

I am well aware of and familiar with her entire body of work and it is all crap. Takahashi Rumiko ties with Akamatsu Ken for being the biggest hack manga-ka ever. She can't finish stories for a damn and she wouldn't know character development if it clubbed her upside the head with a 2x4. She may draw a pretty character or two, but you can't hide shitty writing and stories no matter how many different ways you decide to draw one of your many bishounen characters; all of whom are as dynamic and interesting as a piece of cardboard.

I gather you haven't watched Maison Ikkoku, which is touted to be one of the best, if not the best romance series of the 80's, and along with Kimagure Orange Road and Touch one of the most memorable series of that decade?

I agree with you to a lesser degree about her most recent work, it'd seem that she went astray after Maison Ikkoku, however I cannot help but disagree with your assertion about that title.

I just started watching Darker than Black again in anticipation for the second season. I agree that there are too many sequels this season, but I'm pretty psyched for that one.

I'll probably check out most of the list when they get subbed
and the ones that I look forward to are :

Sequels
Darker than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini
The only sequel I'll be watching.

Animes from manga I've read
Kimi ni Todoke
Fairy Tail
Really can't wait to watch the animated version .

Based on their creators
Kobato
Kuuchuu Buranko
Since they're from Clamp and Mononoke staff respectively.

Others
Tegami Bachi
Seems like the kind of anime I'll like ^_^.
Aoi Bungaku
Reminds me of Ayakashi it should be interesting.

OVA's
Shakugan no Shana S
The plot of this OVA doesn't seem to have anything to do the series....though I could be wrong.
Black Rock Shooter pilot edition
It's based on my favorite Miku song .

The line up was good. I'm keeping my eyes on To Aru.....railgun series, Winter Sonata, Kampfer, the second season of Koihime Musou, Sora no Otonashi, second season of Asura Cryin' (cause the first one left me hanging), second season of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, and Dance In The Vampire Bund. Whew! Looks like I'll be pretty busy.

The answers to most such questions are available at Mahou Showtime. Unfortunately I don't see a listing for that show.

BTW, that Kobato trailer effectively reduced any interest I might have had in this show because of its CLAMP and Madhouse heritage.

Moonphase doesn't know, AniDB and ANN don't even list it. But the series at least seems to exist and isn't merely a persistent rumor.

And BTW, that Trapeze seems to be an anime/live action mix has effectively reduced any interest I might have had in this show.

But, oh, well .. we'll see ...
