I had a look for some Kraftwerk covers, and the list is less than I might have hoped.
(I would have thought that there were plenty of Kraftwerk songs which would have been well suited for such treatment... oh well.) There's this one: And a go at Dentaku! The pickings (on YouTube at least) get a little slim after those, however...

Vocaloid
I assume you know quite a lot about this nice little program already, and because this is heavily related to music, i'm posting this thread right here.
Now, to those who don't know and/or are just interested, i'll just show you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAViEcyxkD8&fmt=18 It's a japanese program that you can input lyrics to, and get it to sing. There is a character developed around every voice, as there are indeed several types of voices. Some are lower pitch, some are higher, some are male, some female etc. You get the idea. The Vocaloid is very popular in the japanese media and was even broadcasted a time or two as far as i know at the streets of Tokyo. Discuss all Vocaloid here if you want, and as a discussionstarter, i'd say that that spesific video i put the link for earlier in the post made me laugh. How? Look at Miku's and Rin's faces while the video is at 3:35 They look like they're going to kiss each other. Epic. Then they suddenly pass and at 3:40 they look at you with eyes that jsut scream: "What did you think that was going to happen? Pervert."

Well I definitely do like Vocaloid songs *goes to download mp3 of the one you posted*
I Have downloaded Miku unfortunately I'm not good making music with it.. Pretty much all I am good with in the program is a running joke at another forum where I make "____Fail.mp3"s where I take someones 2 sylable name, set it to different versions of one song in particular and then have the name and have it say fail. Although now I'm rambling now ain't I? |
