Hayamin combo didn't help both Ayase and Ikaros win, heh.

Getting 1-1 (day) again, and 83-43 (ovarall) plus 22-8 (round 2) on predicts after the last matches.

Spoiler for October 7, last matchday of round 2:

Spoiler for Are you still there?:

Guesses (w/o looking at tracker)
G4: Kyouko (Shirley may snipe, but doubt it.)
H4: Kuroneko (Though she have to fight Kuroko for it. Rin's only hope is if Shirley does go the snipe.)

- - -

(looks at tracker, notes G2-4)

At least H4 will be interesting...

Well, another 2-0 day, bringing me up to 21-9 in Round 2 and 91-35 Overall.

The last of the Round 2 matches...it is going quick.

G2-4: Kyouko - Her opponents ARE a joke...a nobody and a mid-tier (within her own series) SW girl...come on, can it get easier than that?
H2-4: Kuroneko - I just don't see Kuroko getting enough vote to beat her.

Asuha's win was one of the most satisfying predictions I've had this year. I hope she can somehow go further.

Picks: Tsumugi, Kuroko
Predictions: Kyouko, Kuroneko

Kuroko is not going to make it easy for Kuroneko, especially with Kirino's loss earlier (that's not to say that their fanbases are similar). I'll lean towards Kuroneko winning, but right now I wouldn't be surprised if there was an upset.

Kyouko's totally riding this. Those numbers, even with fakes are crazy!

If 2010 hypothetically existed, there were 3-way block finals, meaning there was no top 16, but a top 24. And given that in the case that it had happened, Isumi would have been put under a theoretical bus, meaning Nanoha would have been technically top 16 anyway.

Just if.

Nonsense. It should have been Yamada.

Yesterday's Results:

Sakurai Rihoko - 104
Aragaki Ayase - 201
Akechi Kokoro - 277

Ikaros - 206
Touhara Asuha - 227
Miyako - 135

More or less as I thought, Kokoro didn't have troubles in her match. Ayase really isn't as strong as I initially thought she would be. I have a tough time with the second match and ultimately got it wrong. Ikaros did get close to winning but it was Asuha who won in the end.

Today's matches:

Toudou Tsumugi vs Charlotte E. Yeager vs Sakura Kyouko
Shirai Kuroko vs Kuroneko vs Perrine-H. Clostermann

Like the other Puella Magi, Kyouko is incredible powerful. Charlotte and Tsumugi were pretty lucky to make Round 2 considering how strong they are. Kyouko will make quick work out of her opponents. Kuroneko has already shown how strong she is by offing Sherlock in Round 1 so I don't expect a situation like Kirino. While Kuroko is quite strong, I don't think she has what it takes to beat Kuroneko. Of course, Kuroneko was my initial pick for H Block winniner and the other characters I picked haven't done so well.

Votes:
Sakura Kyouko
Kuroneko

Predictions:
Sakura Kyouko
Kuroneko

A nice surprise from Asuha, although either of the three winning yesterday would be fine by me.

Picks:
G4: Kyouko Sakura
H4: Kuroneko - Time to take it to the next level, correct?

Keep getting punked by Milky Holmes. Ah well better her than crazy girl. The 10 year old commando wins. Well that was a bit of a .... Poor Ikaros and Miyako.

According to the tracker, its 462 vs 115 vs 33. Tsumugi getting bussed was somewhat expected but Kyoko really ran away with this. Since her previous match was against weak opponents but still gathered over 400 votes, her base support level should be around there. Anyway no despair for her today and she won't be lonely on her Saimoe journey given she has plenty of company from her fellow MS

Kuroneko vs Kuroko match looks like an attempted assassination that got turned back, possibly from a link effect by Kyoko voters. Still there looks to be fakes in it and the gap is not that great yet to be absolutely safe The true end of the anime was not so kind to Kuroneko compared to Kirino but she should win this as Kuroko's only shining moment was her teleportation battle vs Awaki while the rest of her appearences are either jokes at her expense or a few lines here and there.

Surprisingly, there are no funny "cliffs" for today's matches. Unless the big fake spikes were cleverly hidden in the very beginning of the matches.
