This is what happens when you mix the craziness of Samurai Flamenco with the perviness of Highschool DxD. You get this beautiful creation.

In your face perverted hilarity and doesn't give a shit about anything. This show clearly doesn't take itself seriously and loves every second of it. Great stuff.

From what I understand, the story began at Tokyo International Anime Fair 2009. The web novel led to the production of other media.

I think you're actually talking about Dai Shogun, not Daimidaler.

The information I gathered about the source material which Daimidaler was based on can be found here.

Also, Penguin Emperor and his Commandos are present in another, earlier 4-koma manga "Mars Robot Wars" from the same author that came out in 2006, and in it they are 1 year younger than they are in Daimidaler, so we might see some elements from that one incorporated, too.

Still the saddest part is Kyouko couldn't stand the guy but once he avoided her she began to like him quite a bit and once he was pervy again she got embarrassed. Hm u know the more I watch this i'm reminded of Linebarrels of Iron in a few ways

There's a difference between badly made trash and a trash made with plenty of passion and Hiero particles.

Don't get me wrong, this show is not "good", but it is probably the most fun I have this season.

Let me say this straight, Daimidaler isn't a good show but has the potential to become a "show so bad that turns out so good" at entertaining. Furthermore, I could have lived with the first episode if those penguin freaks haven't put all that drama pinpointing and feeling proud about their you-know-what to the audience.

Nevertheless, if I compare between Madanbashi Kouichi and Hyodou Issei from HighSchool DxD, Kouichi is just one level above, because he's very straightforward about his own pervertedness and doesn't try to hide it public. Secondly, his pervertedness acts sort of a plot device for him to get power-ups and operating the Daimidaler since that's the gist and premise of the show; from my understanding fanservice is served as a main dish and not just as a side dish or commonality as happens with other seinen shows.

In contrast to Rias Gremory from HighSchool DXD, I feel Sonan Kyoko has this apprehension aura surrounding her accompanied with well-intentional naivety. Nonetheless, she's got beautiful proportions that'll have to be sacrificed (much to her chagrin) whenever Kouichi deploys into the battlefield inside Daimidaler with her tagging along .

Absurdity continues. Ritz is awesome and pretty cute. Btw her VA not MAKO but Mako from Kill La Kill (Suzaki Aya). One of the problem with this show it is pretty tame on nudity if you ask me. Koichi technic is pretty lacking. He should expand on other parts other than boobies. To be honest I would not mind if show or Koichi himself would go Kumagawa from Medaka Box and girls would have to execute all his "wishes". Naked Apron Alliance!!
