Itīs funny, this bring back memories, I started to read this manga when it had only 33 chapters out and never thought it will last this long but Iīm glad it did. I canīt belive Iīm going to say this but I think I like this story more than Chrno Crusade, the whole family dinamic betwen Riku, Reana and Nenee makes it a great experience for me, canīt wait to see it translated, the english translator is desperate to see the ending so it shouldnīt take long.

Finished reading the final chapter.
A truly good epilogue for the story. But I guess Riku is really no longer human at this point. He didn't even age the slightest compare to rest of the cast that had aged significantly. I think I liked this more than Chrono Crusade. For the character's motive and behaviors made much more sense, and how the lose ends are all tied up. Most importantly that both Spoiler:
Which is extremely important considered the philosophy this manga is trying to preach. If either of them had died, the quality of this mange is going to drop a level. |

When I opened this thread on April eight years ago I was in for the ride of my lifetime. World Embryo instantly caught me in from the moment I read the first chapter, and it was a pleasure to follow you all guys all this time.
Technically, I recently finished the entire manga following the raws though I'm patiently waiting to read the translations for the remaining four last chapters. Indeed, the ending is beautiful, and, thankfully, everything concluded well for Rena, Nene, Riku, Takao, and everyone else. To me the epilogue's last three pages were the most meaningfully executed: 1. Third to last page showcases the five major characters: Rena, Nene, Riku, Takao, and, lastly, Amane. 2. Second to last page showcases the major characters along with all the other characters they met, befriended, or were introduced during the course of the manga. 3. Last page displays the Embryo in the skies giving way to the manga's eponymous title, "World Embryo", or so to my interpretation. It was a long journey, but Riku managed to grew and mature a lot enough to learn and feel for himself the value to trust others and care for other people, as well as Rena and Nene maturing tremendously in personality and motivations. I think that Takao also learned important lessons in order to see within himself the errors of his last actions. Someone previously mentioned on the theme or message of this story. If I grasped it right, it was precisely on trust and be trusted plainly put. I just got a couple of questions to ask: Spoiler:
