Well...confession time, and it was beautiful. This arc wasn't perfect, in particular the beginning was a bit slow and the mood a bit gloomy, but it's by far my favourite of the three route we had. I can't help but wonder how much better would have been the manga if Fumino had been chosen as the first route instead of Uruka so her arc could have enjoyed a better pacing.
One chapter left, I wonder if it will take place immediately after this one with a kiss or if we'ok get a time skip, or both.

Wish authors would forget this bullshit of showing the fighting spirit of the winning heroine to the rivals only after it's already a done deal she has the protagonist in the bag. It's completely hollow. Uruka got rejected, but knew Fumino had a thing for Nariyuki instantly and the opposite. Rizu didn't even try, because she knew it was futile. But let's just waste pages for this, when the protagonist won't change his mind. Who cares if she just accepts his love and her own feelings? No need to tell the rivals that she is going to go for it, when the success is guaranteed.
As much as the actual confessions were really cheesy, it was executed well, even with the stars being irrelevant on the route. My only complaint is that two-timing misunderstanding from Fumino, when Nariyuki clearly told he loves her. Totally uncalled mood killer. |

Expected more of this final chapter and route in general.
Like really, they are dating for 4 months, so 120 days passed without kissing, even though Fumino casually hangs out in the Yuiga household? Also, Nariyuki still called her in her family name until the last few pages when they made a breakthrough. Lame. Being busy with college stuff is a weak excuse if he had the luxury of visiting Rizu and keeping up with her on the Rizu route. Uruka and Rizu hanging out was nice. Rare duo I would say. Sensei's haircut is still a big no for me. Onto Senpai route! It could benefit from the potential of excluding the incapable trio. |

Nice chapter with a good balance of comedy and romance. I can say I'm quite satisfied with this route, I wanted to see such an ending since I started reading with manga and the author managed to deliver.
Next week we'll start senpai's route. It should be an easy one since Tsutsui only needs to play the fake love become real trope, and from his past experiences he should know already how to handle such a situation. I expect senpai's mother to play a significant role.

How about we list the chapters that featured Sensei while we wait for her route?
Chapter 16 was the first chapter she started to be relevant to the plot. Chapter 22 Sensei helps save the cat but hurts her ankle in the process. Last edited by nfsac; 2020-08-05 at 17:16. |
