Did Denji said something he must not say?
Could this be what Makima need to do him in?

Be careful there author-kun.
It's great you being merciless to main characters (don't be wuss like neverland author)
but if you don't brake you going to kill your own manga

Eh, tbf, dead doesn't necessarily mean gone in this story

I love Makima. I know I can rely on her to come uo with worse even after the worst.

He didn't have a brake back in Fire Punch, so don't expect him to have any here.

You must not have read Fire Punch.

I don't think Fujimoto is the least bit worried about how to end the series

And now Denji has no one left and is completely at Makima's mercy. Hopefully he can seperate himself from her soon.

The situation is different here. He's writing for the most popular shounen magazine, one quick to axe its series. Killing off popular characters one after another (IIRC Power came first in the popularity poll) could make rankings/sales tank and precipitate the series' end. I trust his writing skills though, and I think he has gathered a dedicated enough fanbase to keep the series afloat.

That's a bit unfair, as even obvious failures like Samurai 8 had months worth of underperformance before it was finally announced to be ending. The only series that get axed that abruptly are things like Act-Age due to external issues.

Currently this series hasn't even begun to fall, much less bottom out for several consecutive weeks. It's way too soon to be worrying about being cancelled here.

Samurai 8 was written by the author of Naruto. It's the exception, not the rule.

CSM can pretty much do whatever it wants, with so many series dead there is no way Jump gonna axe his even if he kills off the most popular character.
Still, that chapter hurt, man, Pochi even said in his heart, don't open the door...

This is a lie, right?
She is not died, right?
I can't believe it.. maybe this is just another Denji's dream or foreshadowing from Future Demon

Yeah, and Fujimoto’s editor practically gave him free reign to do whatever he wants. No way is this getting cancelled especially with how well it’s been doing. As for this not being similar to other WSJ manga, it’s never been since day 1, come on.

Pretty sure Future Demon foresaw that Denji killed her, and not Makima, so who knows. And devils dont really die, they just go to Hell again.

Future devil has his own agenda. He used misleading words to push Aki to go to Makima. It's possible he sent a fake vision to Aki for that same purpose. Or he just lied when he said the future Aki saw couldn't be changed.

Even with the author's past work, I personally think Chainsawman is a much different sort of story and will play out differently. I have my doubts that these "deaths" are the be-all-end-all. Power could definitely come back, since "she" was a devil, but what form she'll take is definitely up to debate.

Aki, probably not.

But the shark devil, among others, even the gun devil (defeated by Makima), will probably show up again, I'd reckon.

It's probably going to be boring for a while, however. It's pretty much the Denji Makima show... not much to work with, honestly. Not that it's a bad thing, but it seems narratively likely that this isn't the start of a new status quo.
