Too many ideas can be bad ideas . I tend to have a problem with the actual writing. Getting an idea is no issue but trying to write up a proper build up to that event tend to evade me many a times . Or I end up not having enough material written to produce something decent which can suck at times

The only "success" of Jail Scaglietti's experiments to gain control of the rare skill of the Santk Kaiser after her capture during MCY0075. After obtaining DNA samples, Jail decided against destroying Quottordi (Cyborg 14) who he had deem a failure and instead took her to one of his remote facilities and left her in charge of this experiment. Despite his defeat and subsequent capture, a loyal Quottordi laid low and quietly continued the experiment.


Of the 500 second generation clones of the now Takamachi Vivio, only 137 survived accelerated growth to maturity. Out of those, only 17 retained some version of the rare skill and only 1 survive cyborgnization. Deeming this a success, Quottordi decided to name the survivor Ciasette. Although she survived, she was physically weak and it was only after 3 years that this problem was remedied.


Currently she is undergoing extensive upgrades to her cybernetics before beginning her first mission: Rescue Jail Scaglietti and the rest of her loyal sisters.

Powers

Inherent Skill~Blaster Wave: The ability to focus large amounts of mana/energy quickly in her Inherent Equipment in order to discharge a concentrated blast of fire/energy at point blank range. Usually used when she managed to grab hold of an opponent. Her preferred target is the opponent's neck.

Inherent Equipment~Blast Knuckles: A pair of gauntlets specially designed for Ciasette that take advantage of her IS. This aids Ciasette in energy gathering and storage, allowing her to use her IS with little delay or charge time. Developed by Quottordi using Nove's Gun Arm, Subaru's Revolver Knuckle and the Belka cartridge system as a basis.

Inherent Equipment~AMF Generator: As the name state, it is a generator that creates an Anti Magilink Field that runs on a power source independent of the Combat Cyborg. This allows the cyborgs to have the advantage of AMF without the need for drones. All cyborgs equipped with this are proficient in using magic inside the field. This is a small module attached to the Drone Commander.

Inherent Equipment~Drone Commander: A thin armour system for the combat cyborgs that allows direct telepathic control over drones. While this is its main function, it adds a bit of minor firepower to the Combat cyborgs, making them more deadly. Designed by Quottordi as additional standard equipment by scrapping out a standard drone and working its reminding pieces into armour and weapons.

Rare Skill~Holy Armour: A weaker derivation of the Rare Skill - Armour of the Sankt Kaiser. This is an automatic defense that reduces the damage of all incoming attacks.

Other Notes

Many part of her body internally have been enhanced with cybernetic parts and her skeletal structure has been greatly strengthen. Also, under her skin is a thin, highly flexible material that acts like armour weave which is her last line of defense against injuries that would otherwise cripple or outright kill her. However, While the material is flexible, it still reduces her cyborgs reflexes by a bit.

And here at last is the final version of Iris, incorporating the changes suggested on IRC. For those who've already read through the profile in its' earlier stages, only "Body of Swords" and "Telekinesis" have been modified, with BoS getting a slight upgrade in defensive power at the cost of movement speed, and Telekinesis being scrapped outright in favor of a more traditional flight spell.

History:
Iris Laternu was born to Risa Laternu in MC 054. She was orphaned in MC 056 when Risa, a Knight Errant of the Saint Church, attempted to apprehend a group of gun runners operating out of Kranagan’s lawless lower sectors and was killed for her efforts. With no relatives to take her in and her father’s identity unknown she was placed under the care of the Saint Church and grew up in the church’s orphanage.

Iris grew up surrounded by stories and relics of the glory of the old Belkan Empire and the noble knights who defended the empire's glory and its' people, and decided at a young age that she wanted to be just like the knights in the legends. While she was far from the only child to have such fantasies, unlike most of the children in the Church's orphanage she possessed the drive to chase after her dream as well as the ability to make it come true, and began studying to become a knight with when she was five years old.

Because she was born with a rare flaw in her linker core that hampered her ability to link mana together in external patterns, it was a foregone conclusion that she would become attracted to the Ancient Belkan system and its' focus on internally-linked spells and melee combat. None of her teachers, however, could have predicted exactly how attracted to the system Iris would become.

Throughout her childhood, Iris was known to fixate obsessively on certain topics to the exclusion of all others. In her early years she seemed to have her nose in a book almost constantly, even when she was still learning how to read, and in her later years as her schooling began her obsession shifted towards becoming the best knight she could possibly be. However this focus came at the expense of her personal relationships, and amongst her classmates Iris became known as a stuck-up snob who thought she was too good for the rest of her class. As a result, none of Iris's peers attempted to make friends with her, and she reciprocated the lack of attention.

Iris graduated at the top of her class in MC 064 and was granted the rank of Knight Errant, the Church's equivalent of the Bureau's Contract Mages. With her abilities acknowledged, Iris began taking assignments from her new superiors in the church, prioritizing where possible those missions that were likely to bring her into contact with Lost Logia, which held a particular fascination for her. On one mission in particular, however, Iris stumbled upon a situation far too dangerous for a single knight, no matter how skilled, to handle alone...

Description:
Iris's default appearance is that of a young girl approximately eleven years old with short silver hair in a pageboy cut and dark green eyes, however as a talented shapeshifter she is capable of freely altering her appearance at will and maintaining that appearance over long periods of time. She can manipulate her hair and eye colors, hair length, facial structure, age, height, weight, and so on as she wishes, a talent that is particularly handy on occasions where Iris needs to escape pursuit or infiltrate hostile territory.

Iris wears her barrier jacket twenty four hours a day, seven days a week because she sees no reason to change out of it except when bathing or sleeping; along with social interaction, a fashion sense is one of the things she never gained out of her childhood, and keeping a wardrobe of clothes with her seems rather stupid considering that her current outfit offers better protection than anything she could buy in a store.

Iris's barrier jacket consists of a simple black sleeveless dress and a white skirt along with black thigh-high stockings, short combat boots, and black wrist pads on both hands. She also wears a holster for her deck of template cards on her upper left arm and a small hyperspace storage pouch slung over her right hip.

Personality:
Iris is a proud and headstrong young knight of 11 years. She is immensely proud of what she has accomplished and the obstacles she has overcome to become a knight, and possesses an incredible confidence in herself, which is born from knowing exactly what her capabilities are and exactly how special she is among her peers.

Iris has a great respect for personal strength, but in defiance of the stereotype of the Belkan Knight, she applies that respect to all forms of strength, not just martial prowess but also strength of heart and mind. By extension, however, she has absolutely no patience for people she sees as being weak; she despises stupid people ("stupid" as in "ignorant" which includes those who discriminate on the basis of race, age, gender, etc) and those who serve their own interests at the expense of others. Bureaucrats get on her nerves too, but for entirely different reasons (mainly because every time they stick their noses in her cases they make her life more difficult).

Iris is fairly inept in social situations, as she never had much time in her childhood to make friends and learn the ins and outs of social interaction with her peers. She isn’t completely hopeless in social settings, but she is often painfully blunt and doesn’t seem to understand the concept of tact. She never means to hurt peoples’ feelings, but she doesn’t understand why people don’t just come right out and say what they mean instead of trying to sugarcoat things. Consequentially she is very easy to read and wears her heart on her sleeve at all times.

Equipment:
Sapphire: Iris's XTC-07 mage pistol. Designed to help Iris compensate for her lack of ranged combat ability, this high-tech pseudodevice specializes in converting mana into a single preset template using a supply of mana drawn from a magazine of cartridges. Sapphire is optimized to fire simple unguided magic rounds and can draw two A-rank shots out of a single cartridge. The shots can be boosted with explosive or railgun effects by expending an additional cartridge, or two extras can be expended to add both templates at once. Sapphire has a magazine of ten cartridges housed in the grip like most modern semi-automatics and Iris usually keeps two or three extra magazines on her at all times.

Bag of Holding: The pouch Iris wears on her hip possesses an unnaturally large storage capacity which she uses to carry medical supplies, camping gear, extra magazines for Sapphire, an interdimensional distress beacon, and numerous other odds and ends that may come in handy while she's operating in the field.

Template Cards: A "deck" of magic template cards similar to those used by the Lieze twins. Each card is inscribed with a pre-made spell array and charged with enough mana to cast the spell set into the card. The cards are essentially free spells good for a single usage before the card burns out and has to be replaced. These "decks" are standard issue equipment for Contract Mages and Knight Errants and contain a wide assortment of spells that may be useful to a mage operating in the field, such as Physical Heal, Dimension Transit, Spatial Barrier, and many others that many mages overlook during their training. These are especially important to Iris, as the Dimension Transit cards are her only way to get around the multiverse. Iris keeps her deck within reach at all times by keeping it in a shoulder strap holster on her upper left arm.

Powers:
Iris focuses almost entirely on melee and mid-range combat due to her unnaturally low talent for linking mana in external patterns. While most mages (and even many knights) would see this as a severe disadvantage, Iris makes up for it by being so hyperspecialized in melee as to be one of the top Knights in the Saint Church, even without a device.

Miscellaneous Abilities:
Reinforcement: A basic enhancement spell known by every Belkan knight in existence, as it is the foundation upon which all enhancement spells are created. This spell consists of Iris channeling linked mana through her magic circuits into parts of her body to reinforce them physically rather than magically. While this method of enhancement is much less effective than an actual spell, not only does it have a casting time measured in microseconds, but the enhancement stacks with other enhancement and support spells without causing interference in the overlapping spell templates.

Shapeshifting: Iris's favorite ability and the most complex spell in her arsenal, which isn't saying much. Shapeshifting is exactly what it sounds like; the ability to alter one's form into another shape. Shapeshifting is most commonly used in modern times to grant a mage a second form, usually a small creature suitable for hiding or getting into and out of tight places (archaeologists are especially fond of this second usage). Iris, however uses this spell for something else entirely; rather than shift her entire body into one form or another, Iris shifts parts of her body into an arsenal of weapons and tools as she needs them. This ability grants her complete control over her body and a staggering amount of flexibility in melee combat.

Common uses of shapeshifting include:

• Prehensile Hair: Using her hair as mid-range melee weapons; blades and fists are common forms but others are also possible. The lengths of hair can be controlled like prehensile limbs and strike with the same amount of force as what Iris can put into her fists and feet.
• Tool and Weapon Creation: Turning her hands into blades, maces, axes, shields, and a wide array of weapons. Simple tools and mundane objects such as lockpicks, combs, pens, toothbrushes, and many other objects can be formed as well. In all cases, weapons formed in this way have the durability of an Armed Device when this spell is combined with Reinforcement.
• Regeneration: Iris can heal shallow wounds and injuries and accelerate blood clotting on her own body. Deep wounds and broken bones still require medical attention, as Iris lacks the knowledge of the healing process needed to imitate it.
• Body of Swords: Iris causes jagged blades to burst out of her body and grants her entire body hardness equivalent to an armed device. This makes it extremely difficult to inflict crippling injuries on her except through massive blunt trauma or lethal magic damage, but also severely cuts her movement speed.
• Wings: Iris sprouts a massive pair of white wings from her back. When used in conjunction with Sonic Wing, these improve her maneuverability in the air by a considerable degree.
• Mass Manipulation: Iris can manipulate the mass of her own body to a certain degree through pseudomatter creation. This comes in handy when using her Prehensile Hair, as she can greatly extend her hair’s reach.

Sonic Ride: Iris's Flash Move equivalent, this spell moves Iris over short distances at very high speeds. Combining this spell with a melee attack results in a maneuver called "Sonic Impact".

Sonic Wing: Iris's flight spell, which provides a flight speed and maneuverability slightly below Nanoha's Accel Fin. As is typical with Belkan flight spells, Sonic Wing does not have any visible indication of effect, such as the ankle-wings that materialize when Nanoha uses Accel Fin. Iris has had to work very hard to master this spell, as she barely meets the requirements to use flight spells at all.

None

Offensive Abilities:
Mana Burst: An enhancement spell that imbues mana into an object such as a sword or a person’s body, then converts that mana into a burst of kinetic energy. Iris’s favorite enhancement spell, this versatile spell has multiple uses, including enhancing Iris’s movement for short bursts, boosting the power of her melee attacks, and helping her defend against blows from stronger opponents.

Bunker Buster: A melee enhancement spell designed to break through field and shield-type defensive spells.

I choose the "alive, but crippled" route for my own purposes and Soaps leg was screwed up so he had to retire as well. (Which was done to play into a crack fueled Gunslinger Girls crossover)

so, that would mean... (furious off-screen calculation...)

If I assume David was accosted by the STAB slightly before that (thanks to Gil Graham I've got a 50 year window for Earth abductions) to account for training and developing of the Shooting Arts with Quint and possibly others, culminating in the rescue of Subaru and Ginga and ultimately in the mission where Quint, Zest and Megane got jumped, that gives me...

plus 2 years training prior, plus 1 year operational on minor ops with Quint and co, then rescue, then another indeterminate period before the anti-cyborg Op he wasn't allowed on then 11 years to StrikerS (with all apropos inbetween events...) then on Earth During StrikerS, dealing with the Uminari City Drone Incursions...(and associated paperwork...)

if I keep his age as of StrikerS 32, that Makes him 19 when he joined the STAB, 22 when Subaru and Ginga were rescued...

Device/s: Exelica. Cybernetic-Integrated Magical Overdrive Engine + Integrated Intelligent Device, named the "Triggerheart" system. It was originally designed and built as an offshoot to the GDI powered suit program. Exelica's subtype is the GDI Long-Ranged Designated Marksman or LoRD-Marks Weapon System.

Spoiler for Triggerheart System Overview:

The Triggerheart System was initially an offshoot of the GDI's Powered Suit program, with the requirements more focused on intra-operability between the GDI and the TSAB, if the need arises. But the resurgence of the Ver'mith (and the piracy of the Faintear unit) has forced the GDI to use it as a more conventional weapon.

It is composed of several components, namely the Barrier Suit, Weapon System (back)Pack, Force Vernier (or Thrust Field Generator) System, Weapon Companion Pods and Other Accessories.

The Barrier Suit is roughly the equivalent to a mage's Barrier Jacket, only with increased levels in kinetic and energy protection, hardpoints to attach the system pack, and cybernetic linkage to the system.

The Weapon System Pack is the core of the system, containing most of the needed equipment- like the force points for generating the Barrier field most of the other accessories also fit here as well.

The Force Vernier or Thrust Field system on is composed of 2 parts- a main unit cluster and a secondary unit cluster. It provides levitation, thrust and maneuvering on par with some of the most airworthy mages and even some fighter aircraft. Exelica's clusters are on her hips and upper legs.

The Weapon Companion Pods are one of the key features of the system as they are the means of attack and defense for the Triggerhearts. And they also house the System's AI- in a pod attached to one of the pods. There are three roles for the pod/s; attack, defense and grapple. Of the three roles, grapple is the most important as it allows the user to grap any target and use it to the advantage, such as hitting enemies, or rescuing comrades. Exelica has 2 singlerole pods, the Anchor Unit "D'fend" and the Shooting Unit "A'rstrear". A'rstrear is the bearer of the AI and hence, can talk in the same manner as Intelligent devices.

The system's Other Accessories includes the indentifying Sensor Headband, in which most of the sensing equipment are placed, and other upgrades, such as the later Magical Overdrive Engine or M.O.E.

As of current, the system is being modified to suit it's original intended role, as the Ver'mith encroaches upon Ordered Space.


Note:

While requests for massproduction have been heard, GDI R&D stated that to build an MP version will cost even more than just developing individual suits. And due to the current successes of the Triggerhearts in general, they were turned into a Special Ops unit.

Though the GDI had developed the Triggerheart system for a multirole conventional and magical combat and has already used it conventionally, the group's transfer into the Bureau to combat the increasing Ver'mith activity in Ordered Space warranted adding some skills, by treaty with the Bureau to "magicalize" the system, and hence the list of skills/spells. It's up to the user if she decides to use them.

Cloud Barrier: An omnidirectional barrier that can block attacks from every direction and also provide escape dampening against supershots like Starlight Breaker- but she cannot attack in the process. It derives its name from the general appearance of the barrier- as a "cloud" of magic particles surrounding the user.


Concussive Breaker Blast: Simply called "Bomb", the simpler and non-magical version used a pulse of accumulated energy gathered from operation. While the magical version was derived from the Starlight Breaker family of spells, this involves firing the small point/ball of energy at a point in space, and as soon as the ball arrives at that location, accumulates all (magical) energy into that single point, linked or not in a fixed area around it- thus canceling any energy attacks, and detonates the accumulation into an effective range of the area (of accumulation) almost instantly. This is a rather taxing process on the system and only such 5 bombings can be allowed in an engagement- usually in pinch situations. Exelica's Bomb has a moderate effect time, effect range and damage rate.


Strato-Tunnel: A Personal/Massed Movement spell unique to users of Certain Armor Devices, such as the Triggerhearts and Force Fairies. This is basically opening a tunnel in two known locations within the same airspace. While the tunnel is open, anyone on those two locations can move to travel to the other side, travelling in pseudo-voidspace- sometimes, battles can occur in the tunnel but normally the force of the tunnel opening on the other side is enough to deter anyone from entering for the vital first few seconds. Only the crossing of the tunnel opener will close it- and hence the last to go in, unless said opener is knocked out or wills the tunnel be closed. Once in the tunnel space, any uneventful closure of the openings is easily resolved by opening another opening- though the exit point is anywhere in between the original tunnel's opening points. The appearance of units rising up into the opening gave the skill its name.

Strike Anchor Grapple: A magically charged version of D'fend's grapple shot that is used to to grapple a target or rip off any of its parts in the process- if the target is hostile. It then reels the captured unit (or unit part) in and either uses it as a shield or reels it out to be taken out. A key difference between magical and non magical versions of the grapple is that she can attempt to take control of the weapons/other things the grappled target is armed with and use it while connected- if the grappled subject is mechanical- by means of "Force control".


Force Control: Basically known as "Hacking" in the normal world, this ability can only be performed only to mechanical/mechanical objects that were grappled by her Grappler Anchor - Strike Anchor Grapple Skill. And its use is also limited to controlling the object's weapon and shielding systems, if the firewall is weak enough.


MegaloMax: An extended charge beam shot almost akin to Divine Buster, but as the beam is within the proximity of the target, it splits into 10 beams with 1/10th destructive power for each beam but with a wide explosion radius per beam. The angles of the splitting beams can be varied to put up a "wall of explosions" before anything. This is commonly used to try and block shots or any approaching enemy, or give a wide enough devastation area to confuse/damage (slightly though) enemies caught in the area. AMF can affect the radius of explosions.


Anchor Grappler Shield: A shielding spell based on the Strike Anchor Grapple used to protect targets remotely. instead of damaging or hacking the target, as soon as the grapple attaches, a shiled is deployed to protect the target, and it still can be reeled in. Cannot be used on self.


Warp Shot: A rather complex Beam-Type spell that is a relative of the Starlight Breaker family of collection type spells. It fires a rather thin beam that in a matter of moments, collects any magical energy around it manifesting as a "visual warping" of the space around the beam, and hence the name- and upon hitting the target releases the energy explosively. Range and path magical density are key factors in damage.

A'rstrear Blade: Her only melee attack. Activates A'rstrear's beam blade. She rarely uses it because she has limited skill in melee attack, save her grappling.

Born as a normal, healthy child in the huge and rather prominent Metherlance Family, she was an "apparent princess"- but not all were apparently princess-like with her. At the age of 5, she was involved in an accident that killed her biological father and had almost killed her if not for politics, for at that time, Guardia, despite one of the "directly administrated" planet, had one of the highest restrictions on artificial organ or "Resemble" technology as it was called- requiring a presidential order if the operation is to be performed on-planet or a Safety Certification Class III if the operation was done off-planet or if the person had resemble parts already.


After the operation that traded half of her organic body to Resemble, she was not the cheerful girl that was living a happy life. She became, compared to kids her age, a mellow fellow, until one day she first met her future (older) stepsister and partner Crueltear, or Kureha in reality and her future stepfather.This event restored some of the cheerfulness of the child and the bond between stepsisters became a strong point in future events. A few years later, the family moved out of Guardia and Ordered Space entirely to the Yellow Zone, out of business reasons- but this proved to be the starting point of what was about to happen.

Ordered Space Reference Year MCY 068. The Ver'mith, a long standing Terror Group comprised of fanatical high quantum and biomechanical warriors, begins operations in the sector where the family was located, taking over several planets, assasinating various political leaders, mass killings and organizing attacks on other planets for its bid to implement its "restore the true values and ancient knowledge" idealogy. Ver'mith is a huge organization with various ties to local (planetside) terror/idealogy and has been a long time priority target for the GDI, who patrol/supervise non Ordered Space areas of Terran existance.

Ordered Space Reference Year MCY 069. Ver'mith invades the family's current domicile planet of Obrasti II but were stopped short by a determined GDI defensive force, just in time for reinforcements to arrive, the start of a long campaign to extinguish the terror group. This period of time was the probable trigger for the Stepsisters to aspire joining the Military.

Ordered Space Reference Year MCY 072. Despite thier parents express concern and slight disagreement, the stepsisters enlisted in the GDI, which is a wholly different thing compared to Bureau enlistment. After 2 years as cadets and trainees, they were, based on thier records (well both of them hailing from Ordered Space and suprisingly, bearing Military-grade Resemble Technology), transferred to the "Arbitrarian" section of the Initiative, where "talented people" are placed.

The Triggerheart system was the GDI's own Development into other variations of the powered suit application and had been specially made for special operations. As soon as the sisters arrived, they were quickly placed with the research team and began testing and trials. And on Mez (October) 15, MCY 074, the sisters went into thier first sortie, as the Triggerhearts.

Ordered Space Reference Year 075, The Triggerheart Sisters score a break upon the defeat of Ver'mith' own Triggerheart-based unit, the Faintear Mk.1(A). Later that year, the Sisters, with added allies in the form of Cyrna and Elise Lotus aka Fanitear-EX (Mk.2/GDI Mod.00) score another victory against Ver'mith and their modified Faintear Mk.1(B), called the "Imitate". This second break made Ver'mith head for the fringes surrounding Ordered Space.

Ordered Space Reference Year 076 With thier jurisdiction being reached, the GDI decided to contact the TSAB for assistance regarding the matter and as of current, the Triggerhearts are in a Co-op Mission with the TSAB's own AX group, under Kyla Scrya.

The cartridge magazine probably needs to be larger, maybe half again the size it is now. Also, her neck looks unnaturally long. Aside from that I can't see any problems.

Character-wise, I'm still not a fan of those shoulders. They're pretty beefy in comparison to the rest of her body. I don't think you want her to have man-shoulders. And as Comar mentioned, the neck is abnormally long, almost Barbie-sized. Shrink your collar, and you'll shrink the neck.

The device looks better than before, with obvious reference to Raising Heart. However if you're looking for a more unique device, I'd suggest changing the head part a bit. And yeah, make the magazine a little larger. It looks like it loads BBs rather than cartridges.
