Hmm, they might drop a bit but with the upcoming OVA and release of the GSD specials that are supposed to change a couple of things, im afraid they will stay in the top of these polls. That is of course until the new Seed movie is released what will result in them dominating the polls again.

Well I didn't mean permanently dethroned, but they've been dethroned from a continuous, straight presence in the #1 slot. I have no doubt that they'll creep their way back into the #1 slot (despite how little they deserve it >.> ), but for now fans seems to be getting the right idea.

Well not based on Destiny (about that I agree) but based on SEED I do think Kira belongs as Nr1 together with Flay. Lacus should have been Nr.2.

"Ignited" by T.M.Revolution placed #1 (27th) and #9 (28th) in the favorite song category of the last two Annual Animage Grand Prixes.

"Fields of hope" by Tanaka Rie (as Lacus Clyne) placed #5 (27th) and #6 (28th) in the favorite song category of the last two Annual Animage Grand Prixes.

Tanaka Rie's Meer Campbell finished #16 in the favorite female character category of the 28th Annual Animage Grand Prix.

Tired of people calling Kira "Jesus", cos Jesus died in the end, and we all know how that would make viewer ratings go? ;\

Kira is godlike, and the ultimate cordinator, and basicly it would be imposible for him to loose in a fair fight where he had targeted cockpits instead of taking the time to cut of legs\arms\heads\missilepods.

His character is one you just gotta hate, but still love.

Stellar must be my favorite ms pilot of all time though, and I will never get over how EAF Neo\Mwu manipulated her into fighting after he had promised Shinn to take her far away from the battlefield.

Why is it for (old?) SEED characters only their roles in DESTINY is mentioned?

For example, for Char you get MSG/The Origin/Zeta
But for Kira there's only SEED DESTINY

Do people just like these characters in their DESTINY roles so much more than in their SEED roles?

Another question: why is Char being given credit for Zeta but there's also Quattro a few ranks down?

Let's see how long Sakura last up there once Tsubasa Chronicles is over. IIRC, Kira Yamato lasted like 2 years in top 5 of all polls which regard him either negatively or positively, while Edward lasted like....6 months.
