Anyway, here's one of them, however I only have the bare bones of it and some outlines of character relationships. This one is set post A's after Nanoha is injured, but with a different ending. Basically, in my version she still recovers but her body is so fragile from the trauma and the bloodloss that she can never fly again and she can never use magic; or she can, but it won't take much to push her over the edge and cause her body to collapse again, and if she fails a second time there's no sure bet they can save her.
Nanoha then expresses an interest (or an urge) to try and learn swordfighting like Kyouya and Miyuki, but again, her body is too fragile for it as swordfighting is mainly hand-to-hand combat and... well, yeah, she can't handle a lot of hits. In an attempt to help their daughter the Takamachi family send her to England where she is taken in by two childhood friends of Miyuki and Kyouya, Fiasse Crystera and Elise McGaren. Nanoha herself is taken in by Elise and trained in gun fighting, and the two live on as Fiasse's bodyguards.
Fast foward six years later (like A's). Nanoha is fifteen and quite happy, especially that Fiasse, despite dangerous conditions forcing her to do so, has hired Kyouya and Miyuki to help guard her as she is being attacked by an unseen enemy. However, this enemy has also attracted the attention of the Administration, and Nanoha never told anyone where she was going... thus setting her on a crash course with friends she hasn't seen in six years.
I'm aware of some plotholes and trying to figure them out right now. Also, yes, Fiasse is from the Triangle Heart game; Elise is a character from the OVA. I tweaked their backgrounds and whatnot a bit for the story, but here's what I have for them:
Elise: A serious, quiet woman the same age as Kyouya and Fiasse's bodyguard. She took Nanoha in and has been watching over her ever since. Despite her serious personality and strict rules she is in fact very loving to Nanoha and views her as a younger sister; when Nanoha was younger they used to go on motorcyle rides together to mimic the feeling of flying, though now Nanoha is old enough to do it herself. Elise is extremely protective of her friends and holds a special contempt for the Administration and magic in general; it is later revealed that as a child she was used in an experiment to create an "artifical mage" before the events of Project Fate. However, the idea backfired when Elise couldn't handle the overload of magic in her body and went beserk, attacking anything that moved and killing several people in the process. To this day she still harbors the magic in her body, though she keeps it severely under check. (This is a 'magical' spin on her original past in Triangle Heart, where she was responsible for the death of Nanoha's father)
Fiasse: A kind young woman who is only a few years older than Kyouya and principal of Crystera Music School in her mother's stead; however, she in in truth a mage and one of the last in an ancient line to use songs and chants to activate her attacks. Her device, Sweet Song, bears the form of a cross that she wears around her neck (I haven't figured out its final form yet, nor whether it's male or female; I know it calls her 'ma'am' and that's about it). Her attacks are mainly wind-based and vary in strength depending on how long the activation song/chant is; the longer the song, the more powerful and complex the attack. She has many of the shorter songs memorized, while the longer songs flow through her head naturally when she needs them most. It is speculated that this mystery person is targeting her because of the "forgotten song" of her kind; a song said to be capable of bringing back the dead and reversing time itself.
...
And that's it for the first one. Thoughts? Comments? Critiques?
Well, same with everyone else, DO IT! Can Kyouya and Miyuki be super bad ass? They got no love in MGLN. Glad to see some Triangle heart characters.

Nanoha looked over at her friend rubbing her hands together nervously. They each sat on either side of the door leading into Vivio's bedroom in the hallway of their new house. Their master bedroom was just a little bit aways from them but both of them knew they wouldn't get much sleep that night
Vivio's cries tore into both their hearts. The constant sniffling and random calling for them made each girl regret their decision even more. Fate put her face in her palms and leaned forward, sitting cross legged on the floor. "How much longer?"
Nanoha looked at her watch yet again. "Five minutes..."
"We can go early right? Five minutes won't-"
"Fate-chan!" Nanoha almost let a tear come from her eye. "We can't, we have to do this!" She sniffed and wiped her nose on her pajama sleeve before leaning her head back to touch the wall. "She can't sleep with us forever..." Her words were sad, though, and a part of her wished that her little girl never had to grow up. "She's almost five now, she has to be able to sleep on her own..."
Fate nodded and silence came over them for a long steady five minutes. When the wrist watch finally beeped the hour, both girls stood and took a few steadying breaths before opening the door to Vivio's room and walking in. "Are you asleep, Vivio?" Fate's voice asked gently, getting a immediate reply from the girl who scrambled out of bed and hugged her legs tightly.
"Mamaaaaaa!"
"Vivio," Nanoha knelt down and accepted the hug given to her. As she picked up her child, she walked slowly back to the bed and sat her back down on it. "My big girl, sleeping in her own room tonight."
"We're so proud," Fate added in softly to the sniffling girl.
Vivio looked up at them both with watering eyes. "I want to sleep with mama..."
Nanoha eased Vivio back down when she rose up with open arms in a request to be picked up once more. "But Vivio is a big girl with her own room now," She spoke gently to her daughter.
Vivio's heavy breathing turned into a soft whine. "I'm scared!"
This time Fate stroked the girl's hair and spoke gently to her. "We are just down the hallway sweetie. Nothing will hurt you, but if anything were to try, we would be here right away."
The child sniffed and nodded meekly, eyes still watering. "Will you," She sniffed again. "Check under my bed?"
Nanoha ducked under out of sight and lifted Vivio's sheets to look. "Nothing."
"My closet?"
Fate took this request and peeked inside of it. "Nothing."
Vivio made a small unsure sound and held the covers to her chin. "Mama..."
"Get some sleep, Vivio-dear." Nanoha kissed her daughter's forehead. "We're right there, okay?"
"Fate-mama..." The pleading voice broke the other mama's resolve.
"Nanoha, maybe she's still too young and-"
"Fate-chan." Nanoha took a deep breath to make sure she wouldn't cave in as well.
The blond nodded sadly and bent over to kiss Vivio's cheek before singing softly to her. "Hush little baby, don't say a word. Mama's going to buy you a mocking bird. And if that mocking bird don't sing..."
Nanoha smiled fondly at the gentle voice and Vivio's unsure eyes slowly starting to close. By the fifth small verse was completed, the girl was finally starting to drift off, giving the two mamas the cue to get out before she fell asleep completely.
Once the door was closed, both girls sighed and sank down to the floor, leaning against each other. "I want to hold her," Nanoha whispered lightly. Fate's arm was put over her shoulders and pulled the girl against herself. "Ne, Fate-chan?" She got a soft hum. "Why can't they stay small forever?"
Fate smiled to herself and rested her cheek on Nanoha's hair. "That would be nice, wouldn't it?" The soft sounds of Vivio's whimpering finally died off for them over the next hour.
"Do you hear that?" Nanoha whispered proudly to her life long friend. Silence hovered over them for several long seconds before Fate smiled back and hugged Nanoha tightly. "She's asleep, all on her own."
"Mm," Fate thankfully closed her stinging sleep deprived eyes and exhaled in relief. "Mind if we stay like this for just a while longer?"
The brown haired girl shifted just enough to get more comfortable while leaning against the blond. "Not at all."
When the sun came up hours later, the light slowly filled the house with it's ever brightening light. It illuminated several boxes from the fresh move in and reflected off the few pictures that had been already been hung up on the wall. As the house filled with light, it revealed two girls holding each other on the carpeted floor just outside of the young one's bedroom. Sharing a pillow, the two held each other close as they slept peacefully together, just as their daughter was under her warm blankets.
EDIT:@ RadiantBeam: Best of luck writing, don't hold back due to uncertainty! We'll all be happy to give advice and suggestions so lay'm out ^^

Spoiler for Don't stop:
It was one of the hardest times in my life. I know saying it sounds a little mean considering it was also Nanoha's hardest time as well, but I can't change how I feel. Seeing her on that bed, eyes glazed as she looked out the window, just tore at my heart. The girl who gave me a chance, gave me a new life, showed me love and friendship, was just told she would never walk again, let alone fly.
I was powerless to help her, I was unable to do anything at all. I wanted to comfort her, to tell her it would be alright, but what could I say? She just had her life taken from her. Her hopes and dreams, her abilities, her future... What does one say to that?
As she turned from the sky and looked at me, I could see the mixed emotions in her eyes. She wanted to scream, wanted to hit something, wanted to cry and declare that it wasn't fair.
But she didn't say anything.
I knew she wouldn't, and that hurt the most. When she did speak she would simply say that it was okay and that she was feeling better. She didn't want people to worry over her, despite the situation. She was going to take it quietly so she wouldn't bring others down for continuing their happy lives while she sat on the sidelines.
"No." The word came from my mouth before I even knew what I was saying. She looked at me with those glazed eyes and my bottom lip was quivering. I was sad and angry and... and... "No!" My chair slid back and I did something that I never thought I would.
I slapped her.
When others offered hugs and presents and flowers, when they told her they would take care of her, would get her a desk job at the military bases, would always look after her...
She brought a shaking hand up to her cheek and looked at her in shock. "Is that it!?" I demanded at her, voice shaking. "Are you just going to give up!?" I didn't want to tell her it would be okay. I didn't want her to sit quietly as I moved on. She was the one who offered her hand to me, was the one who made me see things clearly... "Are you just going to just quit!?" I bent over and put both my hands beside her and got in her face. "Answer me!"
She looked at me.
I glared and grabbed her shoulders. "Well I won't let you." She blinked. "We're going to get through this. It'll be hard, but... But you will fly again!" She blinked again. "I don't care what they say, you're not the type to just...to just stop! It won't get better like that! A desk job won't make you happy! Flying will!"
Her eyes slowly met mine and I could see that deep spark in them once again. It wasn't full force like it used to be, nor was it bright and shining, but it was there. "That's right," I told her, a little calmer now. "We'll start tomorrow. I'll get the physical therapy papers and have them notarized by my boss so they can't turn you down."
Nanoha looked into my eyes and for the first time in weeks...
She smiled at me.
Ooh, very nice. It was pretty interesting to have Fate slap her, but thinking about it, I could see Fate acting like this.
@New people: Welcome! All the help and fun you could need in under Satashi's sig.
Well, same with everyone else, DO IT! Can Kyouya and Miyuki be super bad ass? They got no love in MGLN. Glad to see some Triangle heart characters.
After watching the OVA I have to say YES, Miyuki and Kyouya are very capable of being super bad ass. It's a pity they got shafted in MGLN, though it's understandable given they weren't major characters.
Another reason why I want to do this. More love for Miyukui and Kyouya, 'cuase they don't get enough.

Please do it~ we need more minor character love in the world.
We also need more kyoudai-ai in this world. While I like Kyouya/Shinobu, I prefer Kyouya with Miyuki.
And then we can have a real triangle of kyouda-ai as well~
Actually, in the Triangle Heart OVA Elise had a crush on Kyouya as a kid. XD
I'd try my hand at Miyuki/Kyouya if only because according to Triangle Heart Miyuki is actually Nanoha's cousin and not her sister, but I don't know if the creators of MGLN changed it so she was actually Nanoha's sister since no one would know her past from Triangle Heart.
Location: In the Netherrealm, thinking who to betray next...

Its very nice your expresion on Fate's feelings, I really love your way to descrive the emotions of the characters, nice job as always
@RadiantBeam: I never read the original Triangle Heart so I'm not familiarisated with the characters of that manga, but your idea looks quite interesting
Well, lots of requesting for Hayate and Fate in a relationship, so here's something I did for everyone.
WARNING: This is Fate x Hayate! Don't read if you don't like it!
Spoiler for Hayate x Fate:
Fate looked at the blinking monitor that appeared next to her work screen and smiled at Nanoha's name on it. Reaching out, she touched the floating display and was rewarded with the image of her roommate. "Fate-chan," the name was sang out lightly. "Are you going to be late tonight?" They both knew she was already half an hour late from her normal time coming home but the question was asked anyway.
"Yes, sorry, I have a ton of paperwork that has deadlines. Hayate needs me to complete it all for the inspection coming up." She gave her a lopsided smile. "Go ahead and eat dinner, I don't know when I'll be home."
"Okay," she nodded cheerfully. "Yuuno-kun offered to take me out tonight so I'll call him back and accept. I'll take Vivio with me so rest when you get home okay?"
"Okay, I will, have fun on your date." Her friend blushed lightly and scratched her cheek. "Still not used to the whole boyfriend thing?"
"Mou, no teasing." Nanoha stuck out her tongue and cut off the monitor.
"Well now..." Fate mused aloud while skimming her main displays. "Where was I...?"
By the time the blond closed down her last monitor she felt more dead than alive. She allowed herself the luxury of falling into her arms waiting on the desk and sighed out thankfully. "Done... Finally. Bardiche, what time is it, please?"
"Nine thirty two, Sir." The robotic voice answered without delay. "Please rest now."
"I will, but first..." Sluggishly moving up, she felt her stomach wince in protest to skipping both lunch and dinner to get done earlier. "I need to tell Hayate that I'm done." The girl left her office and locked the door behind herself before making the trip to the elevator. Minutes later she founds herself knocking on Hayate's office door for the third time with no reply. "I wonder if she went home already...?"
A test on the doorknob revealed it to be unlocked so she stepped in and sighed to herself at the sight. Hayate was hunched over on her desk, resting her head in her arms and breathing steadily. The blond walked over to her and bent down to shake the girl softly. "Hayate? Hayate, wake up. You'll get sick if you sleep here."
"Huh?" The brown haired girl slowly moved to sit in her seat properly. "Wha... Fate-chan?"
"Hi." Fate leaned against the desk while partially sitting on it. "Have a nice nap?"
"Um, yes." She rubbed her eyes and blushed lightly. "I remember getting done with my work and I put my head down for just a second and..."
"Woke up later," Fate finished for her with a slightly amused tone. "Go home."
"No one is there right now anyway." Hayate sighed. "Off on missions... Say, want to come over for dinner? Have you eaten yet?"
"I'm starved." Fate waited patiently for the girl to put her coat on and get her things together. "I'd love to come."
"Okay, I'll cook something good for you." Hayate smiled at her happily. "I got a bottle of wine too, if you'd like?"
Fate felt her cheeks ting ever so slightly. "Wine would be really good."
"Good." The two left the room together and made their way across the base towards her car.
"Oh, I need to tell Nanoha." Fate brought up a monitor and used her device to contact her roommate, who was now apparetly back home once more. "Nanoha, I just got off work, I'm going to eat at Hayate's so I'll be late."
"Okay," Nanoha smiled at her. "Enjoy your date."
"It's not a date!" She defended herself, suddenly loud.
"Oooh, Fate-chan never gets like that unless she has a secret revealed!"
"Nanoha, she's right here!"
The girl on the screen covered her mouth and gasped. "Uhm... Hello Hayate-chan."
"H-hello." Hayate answered meekly from off screen.
"Uhm," Nanoha laughed nervously. "I'm... just going to go tuck Vivio in now..." With that she cut off the link, leaving the two in the car alone again.
Fate chuckled softly. "She's such a hyper girl sometimes..."
"Y-yeah..." Hayate agreed lightly, moving her hand from her gear shift and resting it on the arm rest between them. Her hand touched Fate's lightly, making each jump in their seats.
"Erm... I can move."
"N-no," Hayate blushed, trying to keep her eyes forward. Their hands stayed on top of each other's with neither moving.
Fate Shifted lightly, slowly moving her fingers to make Hayate's fall between her own. "So..."
"...Yeah..." The two finally looked at each other and smiled, giggling at themselves before fully holding hands.
"I'm looking forward to tonight," Fate spoke happily, a warm feeling nestling in her chest.
Hey, Satashi, I was wondering... are you planing to continue "Just a little help..."? We haven't see you around here so much recently, and I haven't talked with you either so I don't know if something happened to you and that's because you are less active now =/ and even if it was to deliver a yuunoha, it's good to see you here now.
I loved the Fate of "Just a little help...", those Freudian slips were priceless, and I'm sure your other readers liked it too, so I hope that you can keep writing it ^^

Work and one other thing:
I'm going back to college ^_^
Lately I've been doing the research thing for different colleges, and I was also sick in bed for almost an entire week with the flu or something O.< But now I have everything taken care of, I should be back to my shorts and stuff.
And that wasn't a Yuunoha, it was a...Hayate + Fate = Hayate @.@ um..... Fate + Hayate = Fayate? ^.^;;;
As for "Just a little help", if you can point me to the last installment, I'll write some of it tomorrow during my breaks ^^
I'm trying to create some familiars for my AU idea, but for the life of me I'm not sure of just how many one mage can create and maintain with their own magic alone. I know Gil Graham had the twins and technically the knights are all Hayate's familiars (or similar, but they get most of their magic from the Book), but is there a limit to how many familiars a mage can successfully create and maintain?
When I ask this, I ask it in reference to a mage that's about as strong as Precia Testarossa.
In canon there isn't a maximum familiars set. But one thing is sure. A familiar eats his master ( the mage ) magic, meaning the more familiar a mage has, the "weaker" the mage will be.
Well, lots of requesting for Hayate and Fate in a relationship, so here's something I did for everyone.

Yay thank you Satashi*hugs* the world needs more And congrats and good luck on the going back to college thing
Thanks. I figured someone like Precia would be able to sustain a large number of familiars and still be a formidable opponent, but I wasn't totally sure. And the show never really gives us a limit for how many familiars a mage can have, so it's all up in the air.

Two or three seems like a good number.
Thanks again.
Looking at it from a differnt angel, in the manga "Negima!", the main mage was able to support a lot of people with his own magic without feeling a real drain as long as they weren't using his powers activly.
To refer that to Nanoha, Arf changes her forms to be "less of a drain on Fate", going from human to wolf to puppy to child. The question is, is Arf just as strong in her child form as she is her adult form? I think the answer is "she is as strong as she wants to be, up to the level that Fate is. The more power she draws from Fate, the stronger she gets magically, but the weaker Fate gets magically."
So one person having, say, ten familiars, wouldn't drain a decent mage as long as they're not activly using powers, but if they do, the mage would suffer greatly in their power.
I think the point I'm getting at is, make sure you balance the power between familiar and mage to make it reasonable :3
