Satou Rina isn't fit of being an idol type(not an outstanding singer) nor a lovey dovey character. She is more into tomboyish characters(Nogizaka Haruka's rival, Mikoto Misaka, Naomi from Corpse Party, etc).

It's hard to sound bad when you're good, so I'm pretty sure they'd have to find someone who has even enough vocal talent to do Miku's loss of voice or just have her choke out sounds when it got to that part. Ain't no other way around in my opinion. Then again, loss of voice could just be played off as silence - nothing comes out.

I wasn't completely off it seems, but I stand corrected nonetheless.
As for that, I believe inhaling and exhaling of air doesn't really have anything to do with vocal cords, so it really is the only sound she could be making.

I also do think she looks a little... "off", for lack of better word.
Usually she pulls a pretty maniacal expression without losing a certain charm to her character but she looks plain insane without really getting through what makes her character appealing. Probably the way her face was drawn there.

kurumi is more suited become domatrix queen with yandere tendencie.
on that picture only showing kurumi maniac face.
so i think thats why we all feel that lack of something.

The whole anime adaption itself was kind of bland(Minus some ost), they cut out a lot of stuff really important.............And i still have issues with Shidou's VA. For some reason, there is no "umph" to it.

When the anime was announced and Volume 6 showed Shiori, I presumed to make things cheaper and consistent they would hire a female seiyuu, but they straight off hired a male one, which kind of made me question their decisions.

It doesn't "bother" me, but I think they could have taken a better choice with his voice.

WRT his VA, I doubt a female voice would have suited a harem protag like him who uses a pronoun like 俺. If it was 僕 then there might be some justification to use a female VA, but I wouldn't think the same for 俺.

i just hope the last BD has some...w/ the kurumi scene in itUnfortunately, I'd say don't count on it; there's no mention of extended/additional scenes for it while they do say there's a novel included. (like the short stories included with some of the previous volumes)
I don't really blame them for taking uot some of the important stuff in the anime; each aired version of the episodes is squarely 23-24 minutes, so they clearly didn't have time for more after you consider the time used up by commercials. Even if they hadn't used episode 6 for an anime original episode and had used the extra 23-24 minutes for more novel contetnt, there'd still be the problem of timing where the episodes would end.
What I do blame them for is getting lazy on the BDs and not putting in sinificant things like the clearly missing scene in the Kotori/Kurumi fight.

I just read Kurumi Star Festival in full and I must say, if Kurumi ever goes full-blown dere, she'll behave almost exactly as she did in the chapter. A pity it was a clone but nonetheless it's a possibility that has been experimented on. There have been hints that she might just be a pure, innocent (well, maybe not quite; she's quite the tease) girl underneath that devious, maniacal front she tends to put up.
I am sure a lot of people are hoping for a Happy End for Kurumi with Shidou.
Really, Shidou should conquer Kurumi quickly. That way each of the girls can have their own happy end without going into the harem end

After Shidou woke up after Kurumi and Kotori's fight, he felt something unfamiliar on his lips and they probably touched something before he fainted. And when Kurumi was shown at the end of the volume, the parts of Zafkiel that Kotori destroyed were fine, but the VI was white, possibly meaning that Shidou and Kurumi had an accidental kiss when he guarded her from Kotori's attack, but only some of her power transfered over because she hadn't completly fallen for him.

Well even though the novel is at Volume 8 the bad guys haven't even been explained even by a bit. The Rounds are still mysterious so it's still hard to say whether they are the good guys or not

The only difference between the rooftop clone and the original is the whitened pupil in the right eye in their default states, right? Though even Kurumi's clones get whitened pupils when they start using their powers seriously.

We still don't know much of Reine's past (maybe she has tragic one). I really thought that the Natsumi arc will reveal "pieces" of Reine.

As far as i know, there's absolutely no sign of her coming to Ratatoskr. She's under (informal) house arrest and forbidden from using any AST related equipment. She'll probably be staying with the AST for a long, long time

I doubt that she will. From the Volume 8 summary, it's possible DEM is going to try to recruit her and Origami started asking about Ratatoskr after she was brought to one of their facilities. Since both organizations have much better equipment than the AST, she will eventually have to go to one of them to become stronger. Ratatoskr is most likely since it has Shidou in it and she saw how powerful their realizers are when she she Mana in Volume 6.

For Vol8 he made a lot of mistakes with the suspects. Kotori can't enter the Fraxinus and next scene she is there. Yoshino gets sucked in by Haniel and she becomes on of the remaining suspects....i mean...dafuq.

I still believe the first spirit was defeat by another being from their world (a being that is responsible for the Spirits arrival to this world). I believe the being is female. She probably used her remaining power to split the first spirit apart, hence separating its angel and vessel. Thus exact its absence for 30 years. The being, who now lost near all her powers and stranded, lived in this world in secrecy and blending in (she also doesn't age that fast). This being is also connect to Origami somehow (maybe she was adopted). I bet she's her daughter. I bet the being has an ability to manipulate her DNA and genes, hence probably how she hide her genes with in daughter. Anyway, I know someone defeated the First and is from their world. This being also know what the "Spirits" are and why they were created. Origami is definitely connected to the First somehow (she is NOT the First!!!).
That's all my theories and speculations.

So I was right, Natsumi's true form will be on vol 9's cover.

I still can't help but think that Yoshino has something to do with this whole situation somehow... but it could be a red herring for all I know.
Why not? It's a good possibility. I mean, Yoshino is more mature than she looks, and she can guide Natsumi into self-control, self-acceptance, well, a lot of self stuff. Point is, Natsumi needs to accept what she really is. That's all there is to it.
I will expect a big depression in Volume 9.

I think he means in the loli department. All the girls so far (other than Yoshino) were all shoujos. Kotori is an imouto so she doesn't count.

You're making it sound like Yoshino doesn't have any rival. Maybe she doesn't appear to have one is because she doesn't take preemptive strikes and lets the others take the lion's share, only with her taking as much as the others' shares.
So, yeah, when it comes to lolis, there's definitely gonna be trouble. Though I can say Natsumi will gradually get the recognition she deserves, at least in this next volume, she doesn't have it yet because of what she's done to Shidou and us readers.

by the way if all the spirit are human then properly they lose their memory's when they go to the spirit world which would explain why Tohka doesn't have any memory of her past.
I guess they won't have to go to school for awhile until they return to normal.

I agree! It's a hassle to wait a few months to see what happens but hey I guess that's his way of creating suspense. And I really hope Natsumi gets a big 180 turn around but who knows how that's gonna happen with shidou and company being 3rd graders lol

Maybe Tachibana should set aside a volume mainly on story developments rather than use the space for introducing a new spirit. Or maybe he should introduce a spirit or a new character that could advance the developments.
