What I heard is that it doesn't end. There's a fairly involved story, and then at some point it just hits a full stop. It ends out of nowhere, resolves nothing, and then a sign pops up that says, "This is only the beginning."
But it's probably the end, because everyone hates it. The PSVita is starved for good RPGs, but this one just bombed bad. Here was an amazon 1-star review: I knew that it was a persona clone, and developed by Zero-Dive, and that the story didn't end, but I decided to just ignore those things and try it anyway from a neutral start. The UI is slow to respond because it shows little animations every time you do something. The 3D models you see whenever a battle ends have scary eyes. There are Lions everywhere who are immune to your MIND. Healing items are useless. (They heal so little that if you use them it actually makes your situation worse.) Lots of irritating little gimmicks in the dungeons (A prompt appears that says "Rip open the door!" and then you have to tap the screen a bunch of time. Enemy spot marks that don't make any sense. (The encounter rate is so high it just feels like they're laughing at you.) Long load times The scenario forces you to use certain characters even if they're underleveled. Skills don't seem stronger even if you've powered them up Skills can't be powered up while equipped (You need to strip naked before you can combine them) The way the male characters interacts with the others is stupid. There are people you can't talk to once you've finished their quests. It goes on in this vein for quite a while, but that should suffice to give you the idea. His opinion is more or less reflected by the rest of the reviews. |
