I would say that the anime has the potential of being better when it comes to action scenes, precisely because of the kind of media it is. In terms of the original artwork however, I prefer the manga even though the anime already does a good job of emulating the artist's style. It wouldn't be as inconsistent at the very least. |

They did a pretty good job with ep 2. Musubi wanted to fight the other girl just like that heh. Kuu-chan sounded cute she fits the voice of her character. The only thing I kinda find a bit irrating is how the faces of the characters have "long" faces they don't look like that in the manga, their faces but in some angles in the anime they look odd...
Oh it was also great to see are favorite blond girl also enjoyed the ED. |

Oh I love Yukari aswell. I don't know if she's my favorite character (I don't know who is my favorite character_.
But her relationship with Shiina is probably my favorite relationship in the series. Not to say Mihato with his Sekireis is in anyway a lesser relationship. Quote:

I hear Rie Tanaka was Tsukiumi for the DramaCD. It's a shame she isn't doing it. Because I LOVE her voice. I think they chose Marina because of the Spoiler for Zetsubo Sensei and Tsukiumi's introduction:

Ties Matter in the Voice Actor Casting Business in Japan, Japanese Fans Assert
Sony discovers Inoue Marina in an audition for Cossette d'Auvergne in Le Portrait de Petite Cossette a few years ago.
Inoue Marina signs up with Sony's Aniplex label. Inoue Marina gets cast as Yoko in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, a Sony Aniplex production. Although she left Voice & Heart - Sony Aniplex's failed excursion into the voice acting business - for the Sigma 7 seiyuu talent agency not too long ago, Inoue Marina still gets cast as Tsukiumi in the Sekirei anime, another Sony Aniplex production. A number of Japanese posters on a Sekirei anime thread at 2ch had correctly predicted a month or so before the official cast announcement that Inoue Marina would get cast as Tsukiumi in the Sekirei anime because of her still strong ties with Sony and Aniplex. As Japanese fans repeatedly assert on numerous threads at 2ch, connections do matter in the seiyuu casting business in Japan.

Episode 2 had some good laughs im just glad Musubi and Minato found a place to live. I mean damn first he kicks out of his place and then his mother cuts his allowance by half then he finds out his lil sis got into a University before he did and he has to be a Ronin for another year. You could say things are not going Minato's way but that depends on how you look at sure i didnt get into a University but this hot Musubi girl came into my life and from what it looks like there are going to be more girls around him.
The building manager is scary its plainly obvious that she is a Sekirei she stopped both attacks with a spoon thats right a SPOON thats not something you learn in high school. Which means her husband had to have been her Ashikabi. Im sure we will get the history of them later on. I am liking what im seeing so far its manage to keep my attention the voice acting is not bad and i cant really bring myself to complain about the animation. Im not fickle as long as it entertains me. Although the humor has been used in other series it works for Sekirei this kind spontaneous humor keeps you on your toes and thats what keeps me coming back.......well that and the cute fighter girls with large breast lol. Im not sure what her name is i think i have seen others refer to her as Kuu i know nothing about her but she is automatically my favorite character for now like i said when i saw KINA's post i am so in love. Looking forward to more im hoping we are going to get more information on this contest and what exactly the prize is.
