Alice in Chains : Man in the Box

Got some of my collection back , so yeah was listening to it . Man in the Box by Alice in Chains its a nice track but the lyrics lets not even go there . I am humming the track from afternoon knowing its shit , no seriously shit . The song overall sounds cool but lyrics are just meh . The video has come out quite neat, love the jam session and head banging in that video .

distintegration by Lia... I find it odd since most of her songs aren't earworms, but this one is, because of this line that repeats two times and gets stuck in your head:
"outside these walls that i have created the sound of stars colliding echoes in the DISSSSTANCE"

Say (All I Need) - OneRepublic

The line "Bless my soul, you're a lonely soul" gives me goosebumps pretty much everytime I hear it.

Red White Disco?

After Perfume's Dream Flight and their Electronic Butterfly, Perfume have their "One Room Disco":

Perfume / One Room Disco

This is the second straight year they wil perform on NHK TV's annual New Year Eve Special Kouhaku Uta Gassen, the 60th Edition.

Will this song, which hit No. 1 on Japan's Oricon weekly CD singles chart earlier this year, be the one they sing on the show? Or will it be "NIGHT FLIGHT"? Or will it be some other song?

The Angel Gabriel

Since it's that time of year again...

Gabriel's Message has an unusual history: while it is based on a Basque carol (Birjina gaztettobat zegoen), its melody and words may actually have roots in the thirteenth or fourteenth century hymn Angelus Ad Virginem. ~ Robert Cummings, All Music Guide

From what I have gathered, "Gabriel's Message," or "The Angel Gabriel," enjoys considerably more popularity in the UK than in the US.

As an American, however, it enjoys considerable popularity with me.

Below are performances of the hauntingly beautiful Christmas carol "Gabriel's Message" by four different British ensembles and artists: 1) the Choir of King's College, Cambridge, Britain's best known Anglican collegiate choir, conducted by Director of Music Stephen Cleobury from the famous annual Christmas Eve Service at King's College Chapel, Cambridge, A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols; 2) Welsh singer and televison/radio personality Aled Jones, singing in Welsh; 3) the Choir of Winchester Cathedral, one of the major Anglican cathedrals in England, conducted by its former Organist and Director of Music David Hill (a former Master of Music at Westminster Cathedral, London, the UK's leading Roman Catholic house of worship); and 4) English rocker Sting.
