As of today 6/28/2007, "GS/GSD Fandisc Seed Supernova er" is listed as Number 5 in Oricon's weekly integrated DVD ranking (DVD総合ランキング) and Number 3 in Oricon's weekly anime DVD ranking (DVDアニメランキング)

SEED/Destiny Fan Disc first week sales
Oricon reports Gundam SEED & SEED Destiny Fan Disc Supernova er was #5 on the weekly overall DVD charts and #3 on the weekly anime DVD charts.

According to 2ch's regular Oricon animation DVD sales poster, the "Gundam SEED & SEED DESTINY Fan Disc SEED SUPERNOVA er," which went on sale June 22, 2007, sold 17,791 copies during its first week of release in Japan.

Very good for a fan disc.

An anime DVD which sells 10,000 or more copies in Japan is generally considered a commercial hit.

- Comparision with dubbed Seed verision from different countries.

- MS Trico Stage (Mobile Suit Explanation Movie) - "Red Stage" Aegis, Justice, Saviour, Infinite Justice narrated by Akira Ishida (voice-actor for Athrun Zala).

- A part of Shinn-based episode not aired on TV.

Ha, and people think Japan isn't still rabid over Gundam SEED.

^^^ You're probably talking about how SEED/Destiny Gundam model sales, because in that area, the CE didn't deliver as much in line with other Gundam model releases. In case of soundtracks, figurines, and other CE anime inspired/related merchandise, they were a big hit, probably thanks to the new young fans (mostly the teenage girls set) who continue to snap these things up like hotcakes at anime expos and other events.

And considering CE is still relatively recent, it is understandable why it is popular up until now. If it still manages to capture that kind of fanbase in about 20 years time (as what happened with Amuro and company) then it could be really touted as a REAL success...

Don't be surprised if Shinn gets treated like Yzak was in the first chibi-episode, except worse. Shinn had always been kicked around in Mini-SEED, and that assumes he didn't get ran over by Freedom Gundam on his way to school. Shinn isn't emo in mini-seed; he is just in constant beserk mode for being a punching bag.

Yeah, mission DD is definitely Meer; unless of course if it's about Lacus filling up her chest to be Meer who acted as Lacus...
