They get a lot of chancers who buy a URL name for a year for a thousand yen and park it with them in the hope that someone will pay them serious money for it later.

It's been up since late last year, no-one's offered to buy it for reals.

Give it time, it's very likely Magus Bride will get an anime eventually since it seems to be a very popular manga and it's got a lot of graphical conceits that should translate to anime quite nicely. Not yet though.

Note about Reikenzan: the Chinese company that pushes for this anime to happen is Tencent which according to Chinese internet forum discussions, most of their anime are multiseason long production, and thus there're some people less familiarize with Japanese anime there being surprised by that it only have 24 mins per episode and only have 12 episodes in a season.

Also, few days ago Tencent have just announced that some other Chinese company acquired several kind of adaption right for Reikenzan at a price of ~100M CNY which is ~1.7B JPY or ~16M USD.

It's certainly exciting to think of what genius young directors like Matsumoto and Tachikawa Yuzuru could do on the big-screen, with a big budget. Still, there's a part of me that's sad to think we may be losing her from TV. TV anime needs all the singular talents it can get, and once a director of Matsumoto's caliber goes to the big screen, they rarely (though not never) come back.

I don't think there's any question somebody like Watanabe could have had a pretty big movie career, but he's worked mostly in TV throughout his career. And I don't think anyone could argue that anime isn't vastly better off for it.

There's easily enough raw material in the manga now to do a single-cour series with three or four dramatic arcs, especially if (as I expect them to) they spend a lot of screen time on the visuals. The two central characters spend a lot of time just walking through woods and other landscapes and this translates to screen candy quite nicely assuming the animation studio is up to it.

There are so many interesting secondary characters that I'd like to see a lot of but won't and little sub-plots which probably won't be shown in any detail (The Spriggan and Silky's relationship, for example) but yes I'm pumped for this if it comes about.

High School DxD is an ongoing light novel series from Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrator Miyama-Zero. The series began publication in September 2008 in Fujimi Shobo’s Dragon Magazine. Collected volumes are published under the company’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. To date, 22 volumes have been released, with the most recent hitting Japanese retailers on August 22.

To date, three anime adaptations of High School DxD have been produced: High School DxD, High School DxD New, and High School DxD BorN. All three titles were directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa (Daimidaler: Prince vs. Penguin Empire, UFO Princess Valkyrie: SPECIAL) at studio TNK. Junji Goto (School Days, Daimidaler: Prince vs. Penguin Empire ) provided character designs on all three shows, while Takao Yoshioka (Elfen Lied, Magical Girl Raising Project) took charge of series composition.

Apparently not an historical story about the Bataan death march (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bataan_Death_March). As an older American the term "death march" automatically conjures up Bataan. I guess young Japanese don't have the same associations with the term. I wonder how many of them have even heard of it given Japan's presentation of World War II in its schools.

Wait is that for sure? Cause the ANN article did reference a "A Certain Project 2018" (2018-Nen To Aru Project) but I'm not sure if it means more seasons or just a million more mobile games.
